Nah +36 is usually good enough to clear brembos.

Default Xxr 560

Anyone have pictures of XXR 560 installed on a WRX (or STI) 2015/2016?

And I would like to know if 18x8.5 ET20 fit without any problem!

Question...what lugs are people using on these wheels. The OEM ones don't work and I'm struggling to find something that will allow a socket over it? I just got 551's.....Are spline lugs the best option? The hole in the wheel isn't large enough to allow my socket and oem lug.

Hey everyone, I'm still relatively new to this community but I have a few questions. I have a 2008 WRX base model (still stock, besides some stickers "+10hp") and I've been interested in getting some XXR 527 17x9.75. But heres the question what offset do I run? +20 or +25? I'm gonna be running stock suspension for now so going low isn't a concern (for now). Also what size tire should I run. 225 or 235? Thanks!!

Try to search for a fitment thread. It's here somewhere. Also, you are going to be mexiflush with that setup lol 9.75 and those low offsets make for a very aggressive setup even for us GV/GR folk

Also please run at least 245's on those, don't stretch tires.

Default 530s

Just put on my new 530s, 18x8.75 +33 with a 245 40. Only had to raise and roll the rear a little. Feal 441 coils, stiff enough the fronts don't rub.

Looking for some advice on potential fitment (and yes, I have searched and spent 4 hours reading this thread start to finish.)

Car: MY05 WRX sedan
Suspension: V7 STI struts and springs
Wheels: XXR 527 18x8.75 +35 in "bright blue"
Tyres: Yokohama AD08R 235/40R18

Will this work or am I pushing it with the 235 yokos? I am prepared to roll the guards but pulling is one step too far for me.

There were pics posted earlier in the thread with a similar fitment but no specifics were given regarding what was needed to make it work.

Put the specs from the wheels you have now, and these specs into "willtheyfit.com" and see what the difference is..then go outside with a ruler and see if they will clear the fenders, nobody will be able to tell you what fits in your fenders, because everyone has a different amount of roll and pull in their fenders as well as different suspension..hope this helps!

Edit: keep in mind, tire size is the second most important, behind offset in determining whether or not the wheel will fit...some will argue that the width of the wheel is more important than the width of the tire but the tire is what actually needs to clear the fender, but obviously there becomes a point where the wheel is simply too wide and you cannot stretch a tire to fit inside the fenders

Okay guys i skimed all 330 plus pages here. just hoping someone can give me the information i need or point me that direction.

2011 Subaru Impreza WRX sedan. i picked up a pristine set of XXR 527 18x8.75 +20mm. I haven't had a chance to mount them yet, but i'm scared these are going to extend way past the fenders front and rear. i am on stock suspension so nothing to really adjust yet.

Any input besides putting XXR down is appreciated. Pics are appreciated even more. Thanks Wheel and tire Gurus

I wont be able to tell you exactly how they will fit, but to get an idea take the specs of your existing wheels and new wheels and plug it into "willtheyfit.com"..it will tell you how much further it will poke, then you can compare it to how your wheel sots now

I have a new set of 225/40r18 Federal Formoza FD2 waiting to be used.

Thanks for the input. i used that calculator on willtheyfit.com and jeez they would stick out pretty far. and you know what they do.

I test fit them last night sans-tires and they stuck out atleast on the front just rim by a inch at least. Not the look i was going for so now im stuck. Cause even when i lower the car i didn't plan on slamming it and having to do heavy work to make some wheels i got on the cheap work.

Just ordered a set of flat black 527s in 17x9.75.
Going on my WRB Bug.
Can't wait until there here, I will be posting pictures.
Haven't fully decided on a tire size yet.
Thinking of going with a 235/40 Federal.
