That's like saying you really shouldn't put wheels with a lesser offset... Losing 3 or 5mm of lug bolt purchase with spacer isn't going to cause you harm as long as you haven't trimmed the bolt length.

You are at a much greater chance of losing a wheel from not properly torquing your lugs than a 3 or 5 mm spacer.

That is not true, lower offset wheels don't have the risk of falling off due to not having full thread engagement.

With the variance in rotor hat thickness, wheel pad lug nut area thickness, and actual spacer thickness it's not worth the risk. You should always confirm you have 8 to 9 full rotations of the lug nut. It's much safer to run longer wheel studs, proper spacers and proper lug nuts than to blindly say "It always works".

Here's an example of it "working" yet not having nearly enough engagement and it's a problem waiting to happen.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...4&postcount=23

3mm spacer on an STi, only 5.5 turns.

Use any size spacer at your own risk, knowing that you run risk of the wheel falling off. (especially if you're using aluminum lugs).

sorry for going OT.

also white, and sometimes red.... Hyper Black also...

I don't know, what color doesn't work with black might be the shorter list..

Had my wheels for a month now. Love the look even more with the car being lowered now. And I haven't seen anybody else with RSM9's yet.

I'm a BMW guy but I've seen so many Subarus fly by me at the track I hope to drive one someday. Love the Enkei wheels.

Can you get GTC01's or NT03+M's in 18x9.5 +38 or 17x9 +35 in 5x100?

I really want to like RPF1's. The weight and the connection to Formula 1 are a huge sell for me. I just can't get over how they look 1-2 inches smaller. I like more open wheels.

Their rota dpt thats also my stock bumper your looking at nothing else.

Fender gap with BC coilovers i can almost get 2 fingers under the fender, i blindsided some woman that drove in front of me at 4am in the dark o if you look from the left side you can see it which is why im switching back to a stock strut setup where you cant see it at all.

those look good. quite flashy!

i couldn't think to use my rpf1's during winter cause of snow and curbs. i had a friend curb rash his on the first day of winter he had to order another rim.

on another note quick question:

bad idea to run coils on stock struts? what about tophats? to replace all these and get it done right i'm looking @ a 2-3k setup? for a DD w/ sways and endlinks.

Also heard its a good idea to have donor struts etc...

just a test fit, haven't rolled the rear fenders yet. Didn't need spacers either.
Are you on stock suspension? Any rubbing on the strut?
