Some of these (maybe some others as well) final drives are incorrect. Such as...

It'd be easier to change the nomenclature. Those are the correct rear end ratios. Subaru has been known to use a 1.1:1 gear in the driveshaft.

It's too confusing with that method, especially for people doing swaps.

Those FD's are correct for the transmission. The 1.1:1 center diff is confusing people because the rear diff won't match those numbers. It might just be best to add another spot for the rear diff ratio as well. That would be a more complete set of info.

There is a thread for 6spd swap. this thread is for the gear set themselves and the transmission.

Find me that '07+ 3.545FD 6spd and I'll add it to the list

It's in everyones interest to have as complete and accurate information as possible for whichever project they are working on. Also, the swap guides are very very limited on which diff ratio came on which cars. Having it with the gearset/ratio reference chart is the ideal spot for it and it'll reduce confusion.

It's important to note the 06 usdm 6mt is different from the 04, 05, and 07. It uses the same diff ratio as the 07, but with a different 2nd-4th.

Even without the rear diff, people get confused. Like the "oh it's suppose to be a 3.545FD, not 3.900FD." I'll add a note to the end of the 6spd tranny listing.

So what's incorrect about my listing?

The diff ratio goes hand in hand with the tranny, so they should be listed together.

Something like...(maybe even adding the type of lsd for a more complete table/chart)

All-Wheel-Drive 5-speed Transmissions

Personally I think Fuji has done an excellent job with all of this info! It was never confusing and if you do the appropriate research when doing a driveline swap you see that the 1.1:1 transfer gears net a 3.90:1 from the 3.54:1 rear diffs. You can't just assume you can mix and match rear diffs and transmissions at will.

That being said it would be beneficial to list those transmissions with the 1.1:1 transfer gears along with the rear differential final drives for those new to or just researching a driveline swaps!

I agree with you that Fuji has done an excellent job with this thread and it would be beneficial to list which tranny came with the 1.1:1 along with rear diff ratio for all the tranny. This doesn't only benefit people doing swaps, but also replacement for blow rear diffs. It would be good to know which cars came with what, so you have more options.

The only 1.1:1 trannys you have to be concerned about the 3.545FD rear diff is the '02-05 WRX 5spd and '06-current STi 6spd.

Check put the first page again if the change I did was enough.

If i start listing all the differentials, that would have to be a section of its own. Kind of like the VLSD equipped models. Only certain models had them.

VLSD (vulnerable limited slip differential)
'00/01 2.5RS
'00-09 Legacy 2.5GT
'00-08 Forester with All weather package
'02-07 WRX
'00-04 Outback with All weather package
'05-07 Outback, all models
'08 Outback models other than base
'09 Outback 2.5i SE or higher model
NOTE: Outback models excluding H6, listing excluding '91 Legacy turbo since it's likely worn out already.

I'm a subaru newbie. What's DCCD? I have an AWD celica stage rally car. Thinking of building a GD chassis. I hate the gearing in my car, so i'd like the best if i do a new build; without breaking the bank.

I'm really looking at the 5 speed not the 6 speeds. I'm guessing they are a lot cheaper and i'll be running NA, so strength shouldnt be a huge issue.

The STi RA 5spd runs a 4.444FD with the gearing it has. A few trannys here in the US runs that final drive. You can purchase it from Subaru $$$. Gear spacing and speed is similar to a '04 USDM STi 6spd without 6th gear.

The DCCD is a driver controlled locking center differential. It's basically like a clutch type LSD in which you can adjust lockup rate. It's initial torque split is 35:65 for the older GC8 STi RA 5spds.

You want a long ratio gear set, not short. The less you have to shift, the better.
