I could tell, its my car, i pay a lot for money for it, i want it perfect. and it wasn't perfect.

sean you know i really love your car, only one i really liked with the polished look, and you know how much i hate chrome and polished

honestly since i'm out of this GR chassis, not like my car was ever a serious candidate but supa, xluben, you, rsutton, flex and my buddy bigevilfoot got the best 11's in the scene IMO. its about being different and unique. i can only so many cars on grids, g forces, and XXrs until it bores the hell outta me. mix certain aspects of all of your cars together and it would be the ideal wrx.

i dont really care who knows no one has done what i'm going to yet anyway, all staggered setup i gave up on my original idea of te37SL black editions after seeing the wheels in person, they have a time atack looking polished lip, and i HATE anything polished went with dark graphite 57 extremes instead. no crazy colors on hte breeze, it will be clean, and functional. did i mention brembo's and boost?

Again slates, the BBSs look excellent.

Jiiive... How about we settle this 'go lower' idea. Contracts are your area of study so lets deal.

I've done some calculations. With the inherent risk associated with public roads, the car will be lowered as long as $8.14 is paid for every mile driven during daylight, and $14.22 for every mile between sunset and sunrise. Payment obligations are void on sanctioned raceways.

Let me know if you'd like to see the contract in its entirety. Otherwise just sign below .

Hah. Seriously, how long until the set of (4)xtremes arrive? RAYS not have any full sets available?

according too ravspec, there are three sets off 5x100 (world dumbest ****ing bolt pattern) in the size and offset i want but not in the color i want. so i just have to wait, i can get staggered tomorrow **** that noise.

and next time i'll have write up a NDA for you to sign to keep this information quiet

guess what, i was lower, no scrapes, no issues, ever. looked good, drove perfect, and i daily drove it EVERYWHERE unlikes some one i know...

and i will have you know there is no consideration on the behalf of that contract, i don't accept, offer denied.

served.

Why would you be so against the staggered setup Jive? I know it would be a hassle when it comes to replacing tires and crappy tire longevity, but it would offer a better performance setup. Why would you think a square setup would be better than a staggered on a RWD car?? Just curious broski I would think there's a reason why every supercar that's rwd run a staggered setup :P

Thanks man. In getting a Set of wheels that look similar but in different color. And they're forged the offset will be +35 though. Might do staggered offsets. So I can run a fat tire all around

Mkvaron,

The Golds are worth it for sure. It's a nice Brembo package. Still going after the Tarmac 2s?

supercars don't apply, those are designed around the things that they come stock with, thus a lambo with a staggered setup is obviously designed to run it, where as taking a car designed around throwing a square setup on it, and then running staggered on it will change the characteristics of the car.

the brz, throwing a square setup on the car will keep it neutral at the track, where as staggered will make it more prone to understeer/oversteer depending on how my suspension is dialed in.

the idea is similar to sway bars...the STI understeered heavily, so to correct it i ran stiffer setup in the rear to make it rotate better and be more neutral when i need.

also, running a 8.5's wide rim will net me really no performance benefit, if i wanted to i can still run a staggered tire size but keep a square rim all around..however i know for a fact that the brz can tuck 285's all around...but i would never do that because then it kill the fun tail happy car and makes it all about momentum and super late breaking.

All of this, plus the bag of potato chips. I'll add that I'm okay with 18x7.5 because I love "drifting" or having a tail-happy car at every corner. I'm odd like that, though. I don't need ultimate grip. However, for autox I'm considering those 18x9 Traklite Angle wheels. They're light for their size, and most likely prone to cracks and assplosions.

i just dont see the point in buying wheels that still dont flatter the car. ever. flushness is a must with in reason.

and i'll bet you i'll still be able to drift it when i want with the setup i'll run, it;ll just take more skill than flooring it in gear

Haha thanks! I'm sure you can appreciate the additional stopping power those add... I'm very jealous of that exhaust btw, such a nice piece of hardware!!

Ya I am looking at those & the Tein super street coilovers, weighing price & adjustability. I drive in the snow during winters so I can't lower it too far. My current setup with the GTworx Bilsteins & RCE black springs is perfect height for both track work & snow, but the adjustability will be key in my decision haha
