Default Bugeye JDM HID Leveling Motors?

Wondering if anyone knows of a vendor that sells the leveling motors for the bugeye JDM HID headlights?

I've had these headlights for nearly 7 years but miss this feature from when I had an 06 STi. I have the OEM switch already, just need to find the motors then figure out how to wire them in...Any leads?

Are your motors dead, or why do you need new ones? I've haven't come across anyone selling motors, so a donor set of headlights would probably be your best.

Wiring is straightforward and I have a diagram somewhere. I have the connectors as well if you don't have a set of those already.

Excuse my ignorance: I assumed it was an additional part and not integrated into the headlights.

If it's just wiring and some connectors I need all the better. Let me know if you have those connectors and diagram available.

IIRC those bugeye jdm lights dont have levelers on them. so you would need to fab something, as i dont think that model came with them from the factory either.

Yo! I don't know if you remember me from YEARS ago but I still owe you a ballast... you installed it for me when I first got these lights as the JDM ones didn't work for some reason. The ballast you installed ended up blowing up a few months ago, so I owe you a new one. Sorry I lagged! Honestly forgot about it until it recently blew.

PM me your number.

ALL 02-03 JDM STi headlights have leveling motors from the factory and are hooked up from the factory with a cabin switch.

I'll send you a PM Fred.

The motor is integral to the headlamp housing, sort of. A google image search will show them.

As I mentioned above, they all have the motors. It's a little assembly on the rear of the housing. If you trace the wires from the 6-pin connector on the back of the housing to where they "terminate" that is the motor. I've seen several hundred pairs of these lights and they've all had the motors.
