Finally got an 07 wrx bought on auction started only to hear the death rattle. Engine has been torn down to find 2 spun bearings (1 and 4) a score down one cylinder wall, and a busted piston land on the #4. Good times. I planned for the worst when I purchased the vehicle so now onto the rebuild. Block will be bored to 100mm, crank turned, appropriate bearings, and getting a set of 19cc pistons supposedly putting my CR at 9:1. Came with 1000cc injectors, and a tomei arms m8265 turbo (identical to the mx8265) so I will most likely go the E85 route. I would like to rotate the turbo for ease of assembly, conducting work on the vehicle, clean up the engine bay, but I cannot for the love of all that is subaru locate a stock turbo rotation up pipe down pipe without an external BOV. Any clue as to where to find one, please let me know. Also, anyone running anything similar?
