Does the map sensor effect driveability?

While I was putting on my ebcs I noticed my connector to my map sensor was shredded. Its likely been like this since the dealer screwed up and shredded my serpentine belt but I want to make sure it's still safe to drive with a map that might be reading poorly.

Actually taking a look at the pictures you posted now. I would just replace the plug with a new one.

Yea it's the plug, I've got a replacement from i-wire but it's going to take a while to get here and this is my dd. I was wondering if the map sensor plays an important part in fueling or not. Key on engine off the map reads the same as barometric on my ap so it still does work, it might just cut out at some point.

I wouldn't worry about it too much dude

You'll likely get a CEL if it disconnects, I'd just tape it up until the replacement plug comes in.

Yea I taped it up and haven't got a cel yet so I think I'm good for now.
