Using an ej257 long block in 06 Wrx

Hey guys I’m not sure if this is in the right category but I figured you d try here before the built engine thread. I’m getting a good deal on a ej257 long block and intake manifold out of an 04 STI. I Have an 06 Wrx. While my car runs great and tuned very conservative, I do have 155k on the bottom end. Will I run into any issues rebuilding the 257 and swapping that into my car when the time comes? I don’t know much about the acvs on the STI heads but from what research I’ve found, I won’t be able to use that so what do I have to do to eliminate? Here is what I currently have in the car that I will still use for the time being
VF 48
Grimmspeed top mount
1050cc injectors
255lph fuel pump
Grimmspeed EBCS
Perrin equal lengths
TGV deletes
Up/down pipe
Catback
Air pump delete

It's going from an EJ255 w/intake AVCS to an EJ257 w/intake AVCS. There shouldn't be any issues other than tuning. So this question should be directed toward your tuner to see is the AVCS has any differences like cam position sensors for instance.

Ok I figured on the new tune. I was unsure if there were any other isssues I may run into

what year is the long block from? is it dual avcs? if so what i did was tap the exhaust oil holes on the exhaust cams and put set screws in with jb weld and used my exhaust cam gears from my 2011 wrx motor

It’s from an 04 STI. I do t have the block in my possession yet as I’m picking it up this week

If it’s single avcs then you shouldn’t have any problems
