who wants to install 3 gauges for me? will give you some $$
car: 2006 forester XT
gauges: boost, EGT, oil temp. egt will need the exhaust mani drilled and tapped. not sure about oil temp. boost is easy. anybody who has experience wanna do this for me? i will pay you cash moneyz. lowest bid by someone who seems competent wins. i can go to you most likely, but local long island is preferred. NYC not out of the question. you can just post what you'd want or PM me it really doesn't matter. all 3 are going into a center pod which i've already installed with good old velcro.

i dont have any space left for another gauge unless i add another pod, but i dont want my car to look like a ricer's fighter jet. someone on the forester forums told me theres a galley plug below the tmic that doesn't require an adapter, it's supposed to just screw in.

Surprised this hasn't been closed yet...
Seeking someone outside a supporting Nasioc vendor on Nasioc and offering to pay money usually gets the thread closed in Tri-State Is this a sign of the changing times? |

No the rules have not changed. Non-vendors are still not permitted to offer their services here for money. So he can ask, and people can recommend shops, but if anyone responds and posts "I'll do it for $$" then it's over.

you should def mention what brand gauges they are also...mech or electric. what kind of gauge pod you have...
and the galley plug ontop of the motor is good but some companies sensors/senders wont fit there OR thread in and you also need to buy the adapter plug from subaru. |

the gauges are "swoosh" gauges. i've been told they are the same as srti or prosport i forget which. they are all electrical "stepper motor" gauges. opening ceremony and peak recall and all that crap. they seem to be decent quality.

do they have all the senders/sensors? are they new or used?
to be honest, its not a hard install at all. the only part that may be harder to do is tapping for the egt. some people dont have the tools for it. the other installs are pretty much just running wires. i find it always better to do installs like this myself. you become familiar with the car, you save LOTS of money and only have your self to blame if something goes wrong. and the added satisfaction that some d-bag isnt abusing your car. i trust like one or two people in the tri-state to have my car over night |

yea i dont have the tools for the egt, the rest i could probably figure out but it would take me a long time.
the gauges are brand new with all sensors and senders. |
