Default Fitting 04-05 wrx seats in a 02-03 wrx!

Looking into getting a set of 04-05 black wrx seats to replace my ratty 02-03 wrx seats. I know the bracket fitment is the same, but will the air bag plug connect up with these or will I have to deal with the annoying "no airbag" light?

DoOd, believe it or not, but your seats are better than the 04+ wrx and sti seats.

^^that too, Ive had 02 stockers, 02 leathers, 06 sti, 04 wrx, sparco torinos, and now 04 sti seats. 02 wrx seats were the most comfy (torinos close 2nd), but they just dont look as good.

Well the 02-03 seats aren't going anywhere so I can always swap them back in. I just love the clean look of the black seats, especially in a black car.

The connector is plug and play, Thank God!

I have '04 STI seats (same seats you want with different skin). I regularly drive another bugeye WRX with stock seats. You will regret it. Seriously. Whenever you go on a road trip, swap the stock ones back in.

Why not just get some sort of black seat covers?

I've never seen a decent set of seat covers for the wrx seats I have. Unless you get them professionally done, which is $$$, it just looks out of place IMO.
