I'd still like my question answered, if anything so we can use it to source another site. Any autocrosser knows that sites are few and far between, and most people are friendly and encouraging enough to share information. How are you able to run timed events, when a nationally represented club (with a decent number of members from RI) were not allowed. Also - What part is "calling out?" I thought you could only call someone out if they were being sneaky and that needed to be brought to light? |

After an 8 day trip from Maryland to Washington State and back, then the whirlwind oh-my-god-the-timing-belt-tensioner-is-about-to-break fix, and a midnight drive to Finger Lakes, I was dead tired for the Sunday portion of the Northeast Divisional Championships. I was literally asleep in the back seat of my car minutes before this run.
Of course, I've done a ton to it in the off season, so it doesn't even sound the same, since I put the Perrin equal length headers on it and had it retuned. If I run tomorrow, it's just going to end up like this, so I might just stay home. I will probably decide in the morning. I hate changing tires in the rain. There's a WDCR event next weekend at FedEx Field that will be better prep for the DC ProSolo anyway. |

Out of curiousity, what is "ADSI"? You never actually posted any results or even a link to results in your opening post, so I was wondering what club(s) you actually competed with. Your car doesn't show any numbers or class designations in any of your pictures, so I can't tell from that.

What do you want to hear for results? I got a 1:26 on a certain course and placed first for the day? We have 4 different courses that we mainly use for AutoX, all are slightly different. We're working on designing 2 more courses for this season, it's not like we just toss some cones up and mess around (we do sometimes when messing around) but for an actual competitive course lots of factors are involved when making the course and to make sure it's fun for a variety of cars (big/small wheelbase, light/heavy weight, rwd/fwd/awd, etc.). A few factors are acceleration points, braking areas, certain radius's for certain turns, slalom, make sure areas where people can/will slide out they won't hit anything, avoiding certain tarmac obstacles. My 07 STi is classed as XP. I modified my car to how I want it and like it, I did not build my STi to qualify in any specific class. Quote:
Also, no recent events because Ice racing wasn't really a GO this year due to the generally warm weather. I don't know of any AutoX's in the winter months in New England. With Hoosier slicks, it's a little difficult to get traction in the 20* surfaces How would you know if I had any events planned anyway? Last edited by HERSHEY; 03-26-2012 at 12:44 AM. |

I've also been working on getting my 95 impreza ready. I hope to have that set up next month. That's going to be a strong AutoX car, really short gears and excellent handling. I'm trying to source a hydraulic ebrake and proportioning valve at the moment, then it should be set!

He's defensive because he knows he should not be in this competition since he never posted results or a video!

The rules of the TopScoob competition explicitly state results from a sanctioned event in the past year are required. If a competitor is unable to abide by the rules it is only fair they be DQ. Last edited by vision.dynamix; 03-26-2012 at 01:52 PM. |

1) We BBQ the whole time 2) Reach higher speeds rather then most New England AutoX videos I see are only 1st, 2nd gear and maybe a teaser in third. 3) Local, it's about 20 minutes away from me 4) Nothing to hit if you slide out since it's on a runway 5) Unlimited runs/laps 6) Don't have to spend more then half my day working the course and also don't have to risk getting hit by a car sliding out of control bc I'm working part of the course. 7) I'm paid to be there! Why do you and others keep saying that about the tires? Are you jelous of the tires or something? I never said "I have wide tires, this means it's a AutoX car." Most of the pictures I have of the car AutoXing and the videos posted are when the car had skinny tires on it. Doesn't mean I didn't autoX it. I'll autoX whatever car I want to bc it's fun! |

Yeah Dave, I'm jealous of your tires.
You're avoiding the fact that you're not eligible for competition because you can not abide by the conditions for entering. |

What rules am I not abiding by? The rules don't state that it has to be a SCCA-Sanctioned AutoX or any other specific company. It states a sanctioned autoX. ADSI is a driving school and one of the events it deals with is hosting local AutoX's that have been going on for the past 10+ years. I have thousands of pictures and many videos of myself and others from the past 3 years that I've been a part of it. So... what "rules" should DQ me? Or are you just trying to get on the band wagon to DQ me since 96Accords reason failed? |

pretty sure the rules wants competition results.
You run the company, just make up a web page with results. |

The results are all on the FB page and there's no hiding what days they were uploaded. If they're not there anymore then I can Print Screen of my email with all of the results bc Emily sends the results out via email.
