That video made me curious. What kind of sanctioned auto-x would let you drive and have passengers without helmets?

I know OF Hershey via racing channels (more than one), and I know he's dating you, because like I said, we (you and I, and he and I) know some of the same people. I actually knew who he was before I joined this forum, and only figured it out HERSHEY was the same guy after I saw the car. Either way, that's not the point?

I'd still like my question answered, if anything so we can use it to source another site. Any autocrosser knows that sites are few and far between, and most people are friendly and encouraging enough to share information. How are you able to run timed events, when a nationally represented club (with a decent number of members from RI) were not allowed.

Also - What part is "calling out?" I thought you could only call someone out if they were being sneaky and that needed to be brought to light?

ADSI will gladly work with SCCA on hosting events and providing a site. SCCA as far as I know (past 3 years) has not contacted ADSI. SCCA can call ADSI and hopefully we can work something out!

Since this is a little off the topic of this thread, please PM me and we can discuss further if you'd like.

After an 8 day trip from Maryland to Washington State and back, then the whirlwind oh-my-god-the-timing-belt-tensioner-is-about-to-break fix, and a midnight drive to Finger Lakes, I was dead tired for the Sunday portion of the Northeast Divisional Championships. I was literally asleep in the back seat of my car minutes before this run.

Of course, I've done a ton to it in the off season, so it doesn't even sound the same, since I put the Perrin equal length headers on it and had it retuned.

If I run tomorrow, it's just going to end up like this, so I might just stay home. I will probably decide in the morning. I hate changing tires in the rain.

There's a WDCR event next weekend at FedEx Field that will be better prep for the DC ProSolo anyway.

Out of curiousity, what is "ADSI"? You never actually posted any results or even a link to results in your opening post, so I was wondering what club(s) you actually competed with. Your car doesn't show any numbers or class designations in any of your pictures, so I can't tell from that.

It's easy to find on google. ADSI (Advanced Driving & Security Inc.)

What do you want to hear for results? I got a 1:26 on a certain course and placed first for the day? We have 4 different courses that we mainly use for AutoX, all are slightly different.

We're working on designing 2 more courses for this season, it's not like we just toss some cones up and mess around (we do sometimes when messing around) but for an actual competitive course lots of factors are involved when making the course and to make sure it's fun for a variety of cars (big/small wheelbase, light/heavy weight, rwd/fwd/awd, etc.). A few factors are acceleration points, braking areas, certain radius's for certain turns, slalom, make sure areas where people can/will slide out they won't hit anything, avoiding certain tarmac obstacles.

My 07 STi is classed as XP. I modified my car to how I want it and like it, I did not build my STi to qualify in any specific class.

Really? Does it say in the Top Scoob qualifications that people can never sell the car that they're entering? It's one thing if I didn't even have it anymore but get your panties all out of a bunch! People buy cars, people wreck cars, people sell cars, etc. I STILL have my car and will be AutoX'ing April 1st if all goes well on the dyno at the end of the week! If I had my mind dead set on selling it and planned on selling it %100 then I wouldn't have been working on it the past few weeks and wasting my time/money at the dyno in a week. Like I said in my f/s thread. I do not need to sell my car, nor do I want to, but it's for sale if anyone wants to give me $34,500 for it.

Also, no recent events because Ice racing wasn't really a GO this year due to the generally warm weather. I don't know of any AutoX's in the winter months in New England. With Hoosier slicks, it's a little difficult to get traction in the 20* surfaces

How would you know if I had any events planned anyway?

I've also been working on getting my 95 impreza ready. I hope to have that set up next month. That's going to be a strong AutoX car, really short gears and excellent handling. I'm trying to source a hydraulic ebrake and proportioning valve at the moment, then it should be set!

No need to get defensive. You never posted results from a sanctioned event -- one of the requirements along with a video -- so, it's a completely legitimate question. It's not about the times you ran or where you finished.

He's defensive because he knows he should not be in this competition since he never posted results or a video!

Yes it was a legitimate question. People like this guy get frustrating because they fill the thread with nonsense and BS. For example...

I never posted a video? There are two videos posted in this thread of me and my car. One, I posted POST #5. The other was an old one posted by someone else who found another one recently.

As far as I know, the only Autocrossing he and that car has ever done are at events his own company runs. Events where they allow cars to hit speeds of over 120mph and don't require helmets unless the car is open top. Never sanctioned competition.

The rules of the TopScoob competition explicitly state results from a sanctioned event in the past year are required. If a competitor is unable to abide by the rules it is only fair they be DQ.

Wide tires don't make it a autocrossing car. That car would get destroyed in XP.
I prefer events at ADSI over SCCA for many reasons:
1) We BBQ the whole time
2) Reach higher speeds rather then most New England AutoX videos I see are only 1st, 2nd gear and maybe a teaser in third.
3) Local, it's about 20 minutes away from me
4) Nothing to hit if you slide out since it's on a runway
5) Unlimited runs/laps
6) Don't have to spend more then half my day working the course and also don't have to risk getting hit by a car sliding out of control bc I'm working part of the course.
7) I'm paid to be there!

Why do you and others keep saying that about the tires? Are you jelous of the tires or something? I never said "I have wide tires, this means it's a AutoX car." Most of the pictures I have of the car AutoXing and the videos posted are when the car had skinny tires on it. Doesn't mean I didn't autoX it. I'll autoX whatever car I want to bc it's fun!

Yeah Dave, I'm jealous of your tires.

You're avoiding the fact that you're not eligible for competition because you can not abide by the conditions for entering.

I've been waiting for you to start stuff with/about me in this thread too!

What rules am I not abiding by? The rules don't state that it has to be a SCCA-Sanctioned AutoX or any other specific company. It states a sanctioned autoX. ADSI is a driving school and one of the events it deals with is hosting local AutoX's that have been going on for the past 10+ years. I have thousands of pictures and many videos of myself and others from the past 3 years that I've been a part of it. So... what "rules" should DQ me? Or are you just trying to get on the band wagon to DQ me since 96Accords reason failed?

pretty sure the rules wants competition results.

You run the company, just make up a web page with results.

The results are all on the FB page and there's no hiding what days they were uploaded. If they're not there anymore then I can Print Screen of my email with all of the results bc Emily sends the results out via email.

Man I think the moderators would have taken him out if they thought he wasn't qualified. I'm not gonna take sides and I'm not trying to get mixed up in all this, I'm just saying everyone should stop fighting and leave it to Ferg.
