Don't be such a weenie. Just get some thermal underwear and a decent jacket.

Actually, I think they are predicting a warming trend for the weekend. I think we'll have highs in the low to mid 60's on Sunday. Should be nice!

yeah, stop being such a weenie. or better yet, get a turbo and run around in the new england area and experience what it's like to have a real cold air intake. nothing like 26 degree air to get the boost up fast on my RS-T and make me forget how cold it is outside..

I lived 7 years in Houston - went to Clear Lake High School, you know. Been there, done that. I wonder if people still drag on Space Center Blvd. on Friday nights... and if Marvin Zindler is still complaining about slime in the ice machine... sheesh.

Wear layers, but if the issue is wind chill, wear a windbreaker on top. It helps a lot. And get thin fleece gloves. You can't steer well if your fingers are frozen. Same goes for your feet. Take that from me - I know that all too well.

I'll be racing too in a few weeks.. ice racing. Have fun at your event.

-Edwin

ps: oh yeah, don't roll up your windows and blast the heat. all that does is fog up the windshield and then you can't see a thing. wear a neckgator - much more effective than a scarf. ski shops should have those.

Ski shops!? You mean water ski? We ain't got no snow skiin' places 'round these parts.
Sorry guys I don't think I'm going to come down for the event. I was thinking about it, but I'll just hold out for our season to start next month.

Travis, you forget that we have REI. Sometimes Oshman's will have snow ski gear. Why the change in plans? You could stay at our place if necessary.

Edwin, Marvin is still ranting about slime and roaches. Amazing that he's still alive. Isn't he like 102?
