Character development is overrated.

Vin should always be teamed up with Paul Walker.

I admit XXX was painful to watch.
Maybe I can blame my ex for that one, but I don't recall finishing it. |

Chronicles - people will be strongly divided on this. I personally thought it was an overly ambitious mess |

Pretty much everyone agreed on my basic premise that watching a Vin movie is like watching a B movie with some money spent on production. Apparently that plays well with OT. Let me put it this way, a Vin diesel movie will never go down in the history of cinema as a truly great work of film. I've seen the Riddick movies as I happened across them for free/Netflix and they're just average (I did enjoy Pitch Black enough but I'd never re-watch it). I don't see what commends them over any number of other action flicks, pick your summer action flick flavor and be happy, but don't delude yourself that it's great cinema. |

Just fine. Shut up and leave. I'm sick of watching you try to pee on anything you decide you don't like. You don't want to watch the movie, you don't even want to watch the ****ING TRAILER. Just GTFO. |

I got the feeling that Chronicles was originally a totally unrelated script and someone got the great idea to get Diesel to do it and create some sort of tie in with Pitch Black. If this film is more like Pitch Black, it should be a solid movie, not high cinema, just very entertaining. |

I almost wish Escape From Butcher Bay would have been a movie instead of a game. It's easily my favorite of the Riddick stories.
