Default 17 Base wheel fitment

Does anyone know if the 2018 19 inch STI wheels will fit on a 2017 WRX base without any problems on stock suspension? Thanks in advance.

Will they fit? Of course.

Your real problem is buying the correct tires to go on those wheels so they don't rub.

BTW, you would get more answers in the Wheel & Tire section.
You should ask the Mods to move this for you

why wouldn't he just get the tire size that comes on the 19" wheel equipped STIs. seems like a no brainer

Why would they rub? The bodies of those cars are identical.

The only car you CAN'T put the 2018+ STI wheels on is the pre-2018 STI. The 19" wheels don't clear the four-piston Brembo brakes. Otherwise, they'll fit any 2015+ WRX just fine.

I have no idea what tires he is planning to run. He never said.
Can't answer a question fully unless correct information is fully disclosed

We swapped out the stock 245/35/19 tires for 255/35/19s. No rubbing at all. Even lowered on swift springs.
