1) It would be a bad idea to deck the block unspilt for obvious reason of metal getting places you don't want

2) To correctly deck a Subaru block it should be done registering off the mains NOT the block split line. The block should be TQed together during this since Suby main bores are terribly out of round when they are separate halves so just laying a half on the bar is not that accurate.

No plans on changing the turbo. I may go external 1.05 housing, I may just try a dual port internal can and a 4-port solenoid and just aim for 30 psi. It was just about perfect before so I figure the bump from E85 will be all I need.

Started working on the harness. Once I get all the lengths worked out I'm going to order the raychem heatshrink.

Preliminary harness layout. From this mock-up I'm gonna order the Raychem DR-25 and all the shrink boots I need. Maybe two solid weekends and I should have the harness heat shrinked at least.

Still running or blowed up at 12k miles? I don't think mine will be back on the road this year. To much work.

Harness coming along better than I thought. Need to order the correct T boot and I can wrap up the hard part. Still gotta find the right pins for the factory engine harness connector though

No changes to report. Harness is almost done and I went from a Link G4 Extreme Pro to a Link G4+ Fury ECU. Engine and fuel system out of the car and in various states of rebuild.
Ain't even gonna lie, the STi is the lowest priority on the list right now. Trying to buy a house while spending loot on a toy slows things down and I got my Focus RS to hoon when I wanna have some fun.

Where did you get the plugs/pins for the harness? I'm about to start building my own harness for a Haltech and was looking into sourcing stuff.

Most DTM stuff and wire and raychem from prowire.com, lots of stuff from Ballenger Motorsports to re-pin the factory plugs. Milspecwire.com and Ebay is where I got tools the Mil-spec connectors and misc. parts.

I'm starting with the flying lead harness from Haltech already, so it appears I just need to get the OE harness off and match it to stuff from Ballenger then. Guess I need to sit down and start noodling this. I'll read back through, but did you happen to keep a log of all the plugs you bought?

I have an excel spreadsheet with everything broken down to the pin level P/N.
If you got an email I don't mind sharing. I'm not running AVCS and I have added a lot of extra sensors and **** but I'm sure it may be of some use to someone.
