Someone on a local forum suggested going to Auto Zone and buying the KYB rear mounts. 69 bucks for a pair. Yes please!

Do yourself a favor and get stock rear mounts. Group N is not really needed in the back, unless you are at the track every other weekend. For a street car they are fine.
DO get Group N fronts! You will not regret it. OEM fronts (even new) are terrible for any kind of performance. They are fine for getting groceries but that's about it. Stock fronts are very wishy washy.

No really do your self a favor and get whiteline com c's for the front I would say group n are worth doing and for anything stiffer then sti springs. Hell they are worth doing if you are up grading your suspention.

Plus one for this, if you want or need additional camber/caster.
Who doesn't, right.

I am using the Whiteline and I love them.

So do myself a favor and pay more? Im starting to think these parts companies pay people to talk bad about affordable parts. Whatever. Anyhow, I got stock parts anyways. Just picked up OEM 04 impreza top hats for 20 bucks locally.

Ill be unsubscribing from this thread now.

Obviously an upgraded part is going to cost more. If you want to save money, that's your choice. They were just pointing out that the oem top hats are very soft; and there is good reason to replace them if you are interested in performance. I'm sure your $20 stock top hats will serve their purpose, they just wont provide any improvement. The other users are just more concerned with enhancing their handling than you are.

Seems you missed the whole point of this thread, to toss around ideas and thoughts on different suspension setups for wagons. Your opinion is that stock parts are good enough, great! Some of us are willing to pay a few more bucks to have more performance or adjustment available. No need to unsubscribe.

Purchased and waiting to install:

After some thought, wanted to try the Excel G wagon struts while I save up a few more bones for FEAL or Joni inserts;

06 STI takeoffs;

Whiteline Com C front mounts;

1/4" saggy butt shims;

Antilift kit;

Camber bolts for the front and rear.

Taking suggestions on fast-road alignment settings; the com C mounts and alk will be used to help max out the static caster.

Already have 22mm whiteline bars and links on both ends, the front set to soft and the rear to full-stiff.

try to get the front camber in the -1.5-ish range, set toe at 0 f/r- don't worry about rear camber unless it's excessive or the cross is bad

if they can adjust close to wagon length you're good to go- if they won't adjust below the length of sedan links they won't work

So this is the general consensus? Because saving $300+ would be nice.

I have set on my wagon.
I like them.
They are not pretty, but they are very functional and easy to adjust on the car. They are made well and should hold up well (2 years and no problem). The bushings are rubber and seem very firm (fingernail test). Are they as pretty or nice as the Whiteline set or the MSI set? No, but you do get a set that is stronger than OEM and far better than the Godspeed/eBay junk.
I have seen a complete set of four go for less than $300.
They are stamped SPC, but the box says Eibach.

Do you know how much adjustabilty you've gotten out of them. They say theyre +-1.5degrees toe but is that for the sedan or wagon?

It's been a while since I've messed with them, but from what I remember when I first put them on with sedan struts I was around -2.2° camber. I dialed them back to a stockish -1.5° camber. I never bothered to see how far I could go with them. I would imagine with wagon struts you could do better than that.

Looking for a bit of advice on my suspension.
06' wagon with Stock struts and STI pink springs
24mm Front sway
22'mm adj whiteline rear
Front and rear strut bars.

The car is to jittery and just dosn't feel right. Car is a spirited daily driver...
Thinking about pulling the 24mm front and going back to stock and want to change the shocks and maybe the springs at the same time.

Thoughts or suggestions on struts/spring combo.
