Anybody familiar w/ the Sparco Siena seats?
Just bumped into these the other day. I've had my mind kind of set on Torino's, but these caught my eye. They're about $125 less thant the Torino, but even more intriguing was they were 8 lbs less, 29lbs vs 37 lbs for the Torino.
Curious if anyone has seen one in person/owned one? Big Sky

I sat in one at SEMA.
Very nice for the price. Should I cruise over to Sparco for you and get a full butt dyno analysis? |

I spoke w/ a vendor I've done some business with and is also a Sparco dealer. He was not going to carry them as he thought the quality was down on these. He felt they were released to "compete" w/ some of the other lower priced reclining seats. FWIW.

Big Sky,
I had a chance to sit in these at Sema as well... For some reason I didn't care for them too much. I couldn't really pin it down to something in particular, but they just didnt' fit me right. I'm about 5'8", approx 165lbs, and these seats just didn't do it for me. I think they would have worked out better if I was bigger, cause they didn't hold me to tight at all. The stock WRX seats hold me tighter than those did, but like I said, Im sorta on the small side... I was all set to go for some Bride Ergo II's, but after sitting in them they just didn't do it for me either. I actually liked them a lot, but I feel they might be too tight a fit for most sized folks I can say that out of all the Sparco seats on the floor, I fell in love with the new Monza, and I think that's what I'm gonna go for. I felt that the Monza was a similar fit to the Torino's, but I like the material better as well as the pattern they come in. All in all, it's a hard question to answer really. I don't think you'll find fault with the actual construction with any of the Sparco seats in general. You just have to find out what fits your body shape best. It's like I tell my motorcycle buddies...sure, you may have the best Arai helmet available - racer replica, top of the line, etc...but if it doesn't fit your head it won't do you any good Try and sit in whatever seats you may think you want before you buy...that was my whole purpose of going to Sema...to sit in the Bride Ergo II, and I'm glad I did...turns out they were a little too smal for me. Sitting in them first saved me $1,800 - Paulie |

Thanks for the report. I have no real complaints w/ the WRX seat, just hoping to shed some lbs while getting a comparable (or better) seat.
I had planned on the Torinos, but @ 37lbs/seat plus 15 lbs slider/bracket- I'm right at the WRX seat weight of 55 lbs. I can't do race buckets as this is my wife's daily driver (my weekend driver). I liked the look of the new Monza as well, but alas it's only one lb lighter than the Torino. The search goes on. Big Sky |

I agree with a lot of that. I was all set to get some Torinos for the Cuda, but after sitting in them, I passed. They hit my middle back funny.
In my RS, I have Sparco Roadsters. They fit me like a glove and are a bunch lighter than the stock seats even with sliders. I have limited access to the back seat since they dont tilt/recline, but in your 4-door that isnt a problem. |

I just stumbled upon these seats on sparco's site.
I was actually checking out the torinos but these look nice too. I'd have to see them in person and test them out before I say anything else... haha |

I have torinos in my car and FWIW they are awsome. Since my car is already slow, I dont care to much about the extra weight either
