I posted this in the "electrical and lighting" category as well and don't know if this or that thread is the right one
So this is my second Bosch 4.2 LSU wideband sensor in about a 6 month period and im wondering if my exhaust has anything to do with it?
I'm running a rotated setup and my downpipe is touching the firewall some and im assuming causing vibrations in the exhaust and in turn the sensor as well. Could the exhaust vibrations contribute to sensor failing? From my understanding the sensors are ceramic based to deal with the harsh environments of the exhaust system and fragile so to say. Let me know your thoughts and opinions!
