Default What did you really do to your car today? V3.1

^^^same here. I've wanted to clean up that spaghetti mess of hoses since I got this new engine.

My friend also has a cracked blue T connector and I will be doing this to his as well....he has power steering and I would also like to know if it will be in the way.
I don't have PS so mine's pretty straight forward.

Maybe it's the angle of the last picture but it didn't look like it had any. I can tell in that picture you posted I can see something.

Installed LED front parking lights and disabled my daytime running lights since i hate the 50% power that goes to the high beams which creates the DRLs

To Silver2.5RS, Ravensfan, and carnz-pj-410 - yeah... you don't have to remove anything... just take the time to buy an assortment of plugs beforehand to make sure it fits whatever turbo inlet setup you have. One of my plugs flew off while I was driving down 66 lol.. that was not a fun drive into work!

Over the weekend, I repainted calipers, raised coilovers 4mm for the winter, and rebuilt a fuel purge valve solenoid I broke, and put on some INGs sideskirts

Added Konis with RCE blacks, and Paranoid Fab 1" strut spacers.

Amazing upgrade from stock, but I think I still want more bump travel instead of having spacers, so King standard height springs may be in my future...

Ride height is 14.75 front and rear from wheel center.

Haha I bet it was not. Upon hearing your info I took on the task of doing the JDM evap fix yesterday. Wasn't terrible, took maybe a half hour, but dear lord my knuckles hate me from placing the replacement hose onto the hardline under the intake manifold. That was frustrating, but so far so good, no CEL today on the highway to work - let's see if it stays off for the next couple days

Default A lot of activity last Friday...

I picked up my "new-to-me" wheels (Prodrive GC-05F) from Andrewtech after getting my TPMS sensors installed. I dropped them at Rim Renew in Baltimore to get refinished only to find out that the tires mounted on them were no good. So I purchased Yokohama S-drives in 245/45/17 through the store to be mounted on them. It should be done within a week!

I also ordered new carbon Prodrive center caps from Nengun Performance since the ones on the wheels look tired and beat up.

I bought some WS60 blizzaks on 15" wheels on craiglist. They have about 1500 miles on them. I dare it to snow this winter.

Haven't done it yet, but I want to repair a chip in my windshield. smaller than a dime, but dead center -_- Would like it done before winter gets going full speed.

Any recommendations for shops in the area, preferably Geico friendly? Geico has a partnership with Safelite, so I can aways go that route, but I wasn't sure if other shops can do it at a better price and quality.

Thought about DIY kits on Amazon too, but they seem sketchy. Has anyone had experience with those? Thanks.
