I bought mine stock a few years ago, out of state, and drove it home. squeezed 400miles out of the tank, but I gotta be honest I was below E when I got back to town and wouldn't try it again.

There is a stage 2 '11 WRX running E85 near me who averages just over 20. I hoping with my 2.0 and bigger turbo, to stay out of boost. Im taking a road trip from STL to SFO starting in June, I plan to run E85, testing the quality, as I much as possible. Looks like only 2 or 3 tanks will be on 93. Ill be sure to update my post with my results.

Besides its worth it to me. I just did a turbo swap and needed a tune anyway. So for only $200 more I get an E85 tune! Easily worth it IMO.

I was getting over 30 mpg from my 02 when it was cobb stage 1 and wearing stock 16in wheels and tire size.

Now stage2+ with 17 inch wheels, 245 wide and roof rack. ~22 mpg.

with prices now I am tempted to go back.

02 wrx, catless uppipe, catless downpipe, grimmspeed bcs, testes1010 road tune. I get 21-22mpg, 80% highway 55-65 cruising and the rest is city. I try to stay off boost but it doesn't always work. Best I ever got is 27mpg with mostly highway driving.

'03 wrx, bone stock.

Was averaging 23-25 mpg, bout 25/75 mix of city/hwy.

That was before I got my Insight and actually cared though. I'm pretty sure it's in the teens now

I get between 25-27mpg highway and roughly 20mpg city. The only mods I have are an STi axle-back, Whiteline outrigger bushings, Torque Solutions solid driveshaft (carrier bearing) mounting bushings, Torque Solutions torque mount(dog-bone), Whiteline transmission mount bushings, and Whiteline swaybar bushings. I also have Goodyear Eagle GTs(all season), Castrol Syntec 10W30(Engine), Coastal 75W90(Gearbox), and RP 75W90 in the rear diff.

26-28 is what I normally get with non-highway driving on my set up. Mods are as follows.

Gutted up pipe
TXS turbo back
Kartboy short shifter
Front strut tower brace
Silicone shifter bushings
Silicone steering rack bushings
Intercooler hoses
AP lightweight crank pulley
Boost gauge
Cobb AccessPort stage 2
Rota Tarmac II rims
Nitto Neogen tires 225/45/17

Most of these mods don't matter but I just copied and pasted them from a word doc.

On my trip back from college in Tennessee to PA I got 375 miles on 12.5 gallons which equaled out to 30mpg. This was averaging between 70-75mph and with the weight from stuff from my room (prob 150 lbs). I'd have to check on my town/highway average but I would guess between 23-24mpg.

Weight reduction (2800 lb), VF35 and all supporting mods, tuned for Rich Best Torque. I love WOT pulls on freeway ramps and from stop lights. Cruise at 70 - 90 mph on the freeways in town.
All city driving.

Best I ever got was 28 mpg on road trip cruising at 75 mph.

Waiting for the boxer diesel to hit our shores. Then Im all over it!

My 04 wagon has about 55k on it, so in 7 more years, about when the diesel "may" make it to our shores, it should be just rolling past 100k and be ready for a trade-in. But for now a new turbo and E85 will set me straight......

24-25 normally, 26.7 best
108,000mi, all stock (afaik) needing tune up badly
all Southern rural mixed driving, 45mi/day, 5 or 6 2nd->3rd gear pulls. No road trips long enough to burn a tank at all highway speed.

(tune up as in nothing has been done in... god knows. I just bought it. I imagine it's a stock tune, haven't gotten around to that just yet. only been 2 months, I'm working on bringing all the maintenance up to date before spending money on mods. Proper maintenance is expensive as hell, but you have to have a good foundation.)
