I don't have a good enough imagination to come up with conspiracy theories. Someone had to make this...

... as if they believed this would settle the confusion for people that believe viruses can spread via radio-waves because someone creatively linked COVID to 5G.

I haven't figured out why they are torqued so crazy high. It's a castle nut with a big old cotter pin. It isn't going to back off.
I used mine on the axle nuts and it was super easy. also used it on the flywheel nut that I loosened without it and it took me and another guy that is about 260 lb putting all out weight on a 3/4 breaker to loosen it. used the torquemeister to tighten it up using a 3/8 torque wrench.

Wife got me a new insulated mug.

My coffee is still too hot to drink nearly 5 hours later.

Yeah, I totally want to drink a 4 shot latte in the afternoon.

I do not care for my insulated mug for the same reason.

Bringing the thermal mass of a nice 16 oz ceramic mug from room temperature to equilibrium with the now-slightly cooled coffee is just about right to make the latter drinkable.

Additional gripe: The drinking hole is at least 50% larger than it should be.

Edit: Just to be clear, the gripe is about the mug, not my wife for getting it.

Had a friend in college said he might not be able to hit the bottom of a tuna can, but he could crinkle the sides.

Man up, I can pretty much drink freshly brewed coffee. Hot = good. Iced = good. Lukewarm sucks.

Dear PG&E Customer,

Based on your current energy usage this month, you might incur the state-mandated surcharge for High Usage.

Each customer on a tiered rate plan is provided with an allowance of electricity that is charged at the lowest possible price; this is called the Baseline Allowance1. The surcharge is applied if a customer reaches four times their Baseline Allowance in a monthly billing period.

Sounds like presidential mushroom material there, for a certain definition of presidential.

My neighbor is cutting his grass.

He has what looks like a professional riding mower, fast and efficient. They have few trees, small'ish yard. It takes him hours sometimes to cut it. Sometimes it's like he does it in stages throughout the day. I do not understand what he does, I'm 90% sure I could cut my little bit bigger yard with a push mower in less time. Serenity Now!!!

Did oil change on the outboard for the boat.

I just got it back from having the trim motor replaced... which I think I already gripes about. But for refresh...

I got charged $1000 for it...1hr of labor + $700 OEM parts. No call to give me the repair estimate, just "It's ready". I have my suspicions it's really a $125 AEM part, but no way to prove it.

Today I went to trim the engine down a bit more to get an accurate oil quantity reading....

...and noticed they wired it backwards...which they must have done when they cut and spliced the leads on the new motor because they didn't feel like routing the connector up through the engine cover.

Oh, and I also noticed they mangled the ***** out of one of the other connectors trying to get it unplugged.

I'll be calling on Monday to raise hell. That was the first and last time I'll take it there.

we did a job last year for a rich guy from england who has a house here in northern MI. he's a fashion designer or something. Can't remember what his name was but he also had a nice ride on zero turn sorta deal. Just about everyday we were out there he'd be out cutting the grass, pretty short. we'd just watch him like "uhhh, wtf is this guy cutting is grass, it almost looks like a putting green, you can't go shorter "

nice enough guy anyway.

The worst part about driving a BMW is being a BMW driver, IMO. Try to be an ambassador for good drivers that happen to drive a BMW and then BMW itself undoes your work.
