Push button start version:

Gets in car, drives home.

Realizes at bed time that the keys are not on the night stand.

Spend 3 hours searching house for keys.

Repeatedly ask toddler where Daddys keys are.

Say **** it, go to sleep.

Start to doze off, realize keys are in jacket pocket in trunk of car.

Get up, get keys.

Can't sleep so you binge Netflix and call in sick to work the next day.

Just stated that I don't carry one. Never said it was easier, people said I was crazy and I would lose stuff easier so I gave a rebuttal that I have never lost anything.

I used to buy and sell cars and would carry a lot of cash on me but never in a wallet.

B - Sitting on the wallet provides motivation to clean it out regularly and prevent it from becoming Costanzaed.
Wat? So it's easier to get something out that you're sitting on?

If jacket weather that is where they keys go. If not jacket weather I`ll double up phone and wallet in one pocket and keys in the other.

I feel like of phone, keys, wallet, the best one to be in the back is my wallet. Keys are ass-stabby, and I don't like sitting on my phone.

Also, to stealthbmbr, I haven't lost a wallet in decades. Why is losing a wallet any easier than losing a lump of stuff that usually goes in a wallet?
Probably a carabiner on the belt loop.

Actually, yes. Sitting in a chair. Lean forward a little. Gain access to wallet. If it was in my front pocket (same thing with my phone) and I was sitting in a chair I would have to do a pelvic thrust to straighten my hip to gain access to my pocket.

Also, minimalist wallet:

Probably has something to do with them recognizing the old reaching for the back pocket move so that they can recognize we're going to pay or give them money so they can take the second or two to come up with an appropriate response.

^^^
That.

It's a hell of a lot easier to get something out of the outside of a right angle than it is the inside of one, not even factoring in fabric bunching.

Try putting baby powder in/on them... something. Mrs. Lag had the same issue and put baby powder somewhere and walked around for a day and then shook it out/cleaned the boot that was squeaking, no more squeaking.

Did that on another pair of shoes. Worked for about a week. Ended up removing the inner sole inserts and replaced them with a gel insert. Problem solved. The squeak was from one of the 4 layers in there.

Downside: Now it feels like I'm walking on used condoms all day.

When have you had more then I don't know 2 used condoms at once and what went down that sticking them in your shoes was the best option available? I want to tell this story to my grandkids one day, so keep it PG.

I tried powder, has not worked. These actually squeaked before re-soling, and I used powder then and it did work. It is likely the insole.

More highway shenanigans.

Taking on ramp to high way this morning. While still doing the S curve to hop on the highway, the SUV in front puts on the left blinker. I think to myself, well it is a little early to turn that thing on, plus where else are you going to go, right?

yep

As we enter the merge lane, drive in front goes right, hops the curve, apparently wakes up, hops out and immediately merges to the right lane. Good thing no one was coming in that lane.

This summer I'm getting a video cam for my car.

continuing with this.

While I was putting away my papers I came about 2 excise tax papers for 2016.
God damn it.
I bought a new car last year, so the town taxed me twice. Once at the beginning of the year, and once after I bought the car. I only put in one.
Next year I might put 2017s and the 2016 I didnt put in. Get my $5 back

Was it a surprise that it rained or did you just move there?
