I should trade pics in a couple weeks when all the fir trees decide to have an orgy.

My cars are literally neon yellow / green for 2-3 weeks.

edit: Now that I think of it, just look at that picture of shik and imagine him as a car

On the verge of murdering someone.

Passport went MIA during my last trip. Looked all over for it but couldn't find it at all.

No sweat. Filed for a new one with expatiated processing on the 27th of Feb. No problem, trip on April 4th, tons of time to spare. Should be back in 2 weeks, right? Nope. **** me sideways.

The league has a in with the agency that helps handle/process passport applications. Welp they had me fill out the wrong ****ing form. Got a letter on the 13th saying application was wrong and to fill out a new one. Should be turned around in a week and I'd still be good.

Be me. Be today. Where's my passport? Call the agency and they haven't received the new forms. WTFMATE?! Less than two weeks out now and still no passport.

Spend the morning trying to get tracking info on the forms sent. Earliest appointment they have in DC is the 4th, after I should be in the air. Can't do the emergency appointment since I'm still more than 7days out. Ask for an appointment in Philly, 2hrs away. On the ****ing 30th.

Need to bring all the forms again, plus proof of citizenship, and might have to pay the fee all over again...after they already cashed my first check. THE ****.

Gripe: While helping my buddy change the converter in his race car, trans fluid dripped on my face. I asked for a rag and he handed me one then started to snicker when I wiped off the fluid. I looked and it was an old pair of underwear. That fkr had been saving that for awhile.

There's your problem. You should have used the expedited processing.

If you goto a physical passport office and it is an emergency they can get you one inside of 8 hrs based on my first hand experience.

I'm hoping it doesn't come down to that, but I'm ready if it does.

Luckily mine happened in Atlanta. It wasn't a terrible experience. Essentially handed them the forms plus a check and then waited for 6 hrs by walking around the Coke musuem and the aquarium.

If you want weird looks, go into a Hooters while wearing a tux.

Dropped my car off on Friday for a bunch of maintenance repairs. I knew they wouldn't get to it until Monday and estimated completion by yesterday. As of now they're still working on it. I really miss my car

Secondary gripe...Coming back from vacation and finding the gripe thread locked

Weird story:

I had my first daughter when I was 20. The job I was working at the time had weird hours, and we traveled all around Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado. I got off after a 28 hour shift, picked up my daughter and headed home. Realizing I probably had nothing to eat at home since I had been on the road for two and half weeks I figured I should stop for dinner (my daughter had already eaten at this point).

There was a Hooters a block from my house. I don't remember exactly what the reason was, but I remember it being completely dead in there, and I remember some other places we passed not being open. I don't know if it was a holiday, or just some off day of the week, because it wasn't late at night.

Anyway, long story short, I ate a cheeseburger while all the waitress took turns entertaining my about 10 month old daughter. Every few minutes one would come by and play peek a boo, or tickle her, etc. It was fantastic.

Works best if you're also following the prior two suggestions.

But don't make it weird, put the semen in a syringe, not a cup.

Wanted to check what Xfinity plans are available at my address. Plug it into the website its like "nope call customer service". This stupid chat client keeps popping up every page load so I'm like okay I'll ask them. Give them my address and answer some questions. They're like "nope call customer service".

This could go either way (gripe or joy.)

Today I met a woman that is a recruiter for a local company - she works for that company. The job sounds interesting and maybe more money. I fit into the culture.

She is a super cute, ex bike racer that like road, gravel and MTB. We talked bike for about 60% of our meeting. She called me back to set up another meeting with more people, and we ended up talking bikes. Me: "Well, we should probably not keep talking about riding at work." Her: "Oh, yeah - I keep forgetting why were talking in the first place!"

Helping move a transmission and I'm so beef cakey that I tore the sleeves on my shirt

Either that or the fit sucked. Either way, I looked pretty impressive for a minute.

GRIPE: THIEVES. **** THIEVES. I'm so sick of having to constantly watch my sh** worrying that some tweaker is going to steal it. I let my guard down for one damn night. Yesterday morning my Accessport was stolen out of my car, and to top it off Cobb can't cut me the half off price due to my stupidity of buying a used AP.
