Ugh!!! Someone messed up the corner of my baby!!! Can someone please suggest a body shop where I should go to get this fixed? and also does anyone have a DIY clear or stock set (or just the passenger side?) of corners that I can use?

damage includes:
bent fender
broken corner light
head light pushed in and misaligned
ben corner of hood
scratched bumper (very slight)
slight bent in the frame that is above the headlight

here are some pics:

Man thats really F----- UP!!! What the hell kind of people do we have running around the bay area? It looks to me like some punks just went and smashed your beautiful car up. Similar event happened to me: my friend and I were coming home and we found both his (Chevy Prizm) and my dad's (Buick Park Avenue) windows smashed in. A couple other cars got hit around the neighborhood too. Stupid punks. I don't know of a good body shop around Cupertino but call up your insurance company and ask them who they recommend. Man that really sucks man. I hope it doesnt hurt your wallet too badly...

M2 in Mountainview off Evelyn near Castro st.
Ask for Tom (hope he still works there). He is a very cool guy and the shop does a wonderful job.

I am not sure about other M2 shop since it's a big chain body shop, quality might vary from shop to shop, but I always have good experience with mountainview M2.

Yeah, that's about right.

Nah, it looks more like some idiot in an SUV backed into your car in a parking lot. Everything should be able to be straightened out by a decent body shop. By the way you might want to avoid the body shop that does all the repairs for the Stevens Creek dealerships (can't remember the name). I dropped $1200 after a bicyclist wiped out across the entire passenger side of my car, and ended up with four feet of orange peel paint (lifetime warrantied though!).

Chances are they won't get the headlight alignment right, so I'll help you tweak it when the car gets out of the shop.

Sorry to hear about that, hope the repair goes swiftly...

Maybe you can get a set of factory clear corners out of your insurance...

Thumbs down

damn that sucks!
i'm guessing that since you don't know it that you're ok (which is always a priority)

i got into an accident on thanksgiving a year ago... =T it's kinda weird ain't it? bittersweet if you ask me.

at any rate, some guy had offered me some DIY clear corners for free on the i club, but i haven't heard from him. i guess if he ever follows through, i'll give 'em to you for free.

but i don't if/when that'll happen.

sorry

Allow myself to introduce ..uhh.. myself..

I'm the infamous Andreas, Andyc is talking about in the previous post..

It was nice talking with you the other day Saw Jai.. I hope you get your car fixed soon.

I'll probably be harrassing everyone here some more sometime soon. I drive a stock *wink* Civic Si, but I have alotta love for almost all Scoobys..

I'm planning on my next car being the WRX, and this very obviously seems to be the best place to get info..

I hope to come to one of the events you guys host very soon. Should be alot of fun..

Lates

Have a Nice Day?

Thats definatly damage from someone backing into you, probably a raised truck or SUV...

Same thing happened to my old car in a Parking lot at some Dorms... I used the car only like during the weekends, so I didnt even know what day it happened! I came out, and saw the top part of the rear end corner smashed in like that... SOB's didnt even leave a note!
