18x8.5 w/+44 offset. Tires are 235/40/18. The springs are feeling good. Not to bouncy but a nice firm feel.

Now I just need to decide between blue red and DSG for mine. We have a DSG forester, not sure if we want two the same color... I want RED red, not marron, but I also don't love that blue... ugh. And my WRX was silver and I HATED that color after a few years so that's out as well. I was crushed when I learned white's interior is tan.

My wheels are Rota DPT. yeah I hear you on that ivory interior. Hey just grab some black BRIDE seats LOL. As far as the colors you've mentioned I'd get DGM and slap the bronze wheel on!

Nice to see a standard Impreza running with the turbos. Around here if you don't have a turbo, usually you just get a nose pointed up at you.

Thanks! I totally agree that the painted shrouds for the fog lights are a game changer. It really gives it a clean and seamless look. I am pretty content with the front end of my car, other than me planning to have my head lights and fog lights retrofitted at the end of this month (I'm still debating on if I should blacken the head lights or not, as well as if I should go overboard and do a quad-xenon retrofit) and possibly seeing if a body shop could modify the STi lip to fit with the front underspoiler, I think I am done with the front end.

I also agree with your sentiment about keeping the car looking OEM yet still unique. Most of the things I have planned for the exterior are OEM modifications: body molding, STi lip, '14+ Forester side view mirrors, and XV Hybrid tail lights with a red vinyl overlay (I'm not a fan of clear tail lights). But I also would like to add a shark fin antenna and some fender flares similar to the Bushwacker Forester but keep it tonal so that it'll blend seamlessly with the rest of the exterior. Then have the wheel wells rolled and pulled so I can throw on some wide wheels (17 or 18 x 9.5 or 10) with some meaty tires (255 or 265), just to give my car a wide and aggressive stance. I know it'll be all show and no go (and a bit overkill for an econobox), but I just want to have a great looking daily driver that gets good gas mileage but is also fun to drive. And I think I'll be able to achieve that if everything goes as planned.
By blackening the headlights, do you mean painting the inside of the headlight assembly?

I thought that would happen, but at least folks in our local group are very cool/interested to see what I've got in store for my little "What the heck is that" Subaru. It's funny how so many folks still have no idea what my car is!

They also don't have much of a CHOICE. I'm pretty active in our local group and have already planned about a dozen events. I've organized meets and cruises, with routes that I normally lead. Most of 'em are impressed with how quick I'm able to zip around corners on the routes or what my pickup is like despite the horses my N/A car has compared to their tuned turbo beasts.

seats aren't going to happen. I'm 35, married and have 2 kids. I'm getting an impreza (note NON WRX this time!) as a fun option that works well for the commute as well as skiing... I've owned 2 WRXs, the last was traded in on this:

so that's why I'm hesitant to add another DSG subaru... Yes bronze DOES look amazing on it, but I'm also wanting white or red on golds...

and the interior:

is why I REALLY want black now. I had it on my WRX. The MINI is black/silver because the wife wanted that. The forester is gray because we wanted DSG. But I don't want this to be a third car in a row that's not black since I see the inside more than the outside... Right now I'm leaning towards red with golds...

Those supertones look great peeking through the grill. Did they play nice with the factory harness?

Yes, I think similar to your retrofit (were you the user that retrofitted his headlights twice?). I'm also debating on adding LEDs like the Audi A4 headlights, so black would look good if I decide to go that route, but if I don't decide to do the LEDs I'll probably keep it silver/chrome to keep the OEM feel.

I did retrofit them and I would highly recommend you do the same (if you're undecided). I was considering doing angel eyes but decided against it, as if you don't drive a BMW it becomes rice.

Do you happen to have any link to the installation procedure to retrofit the lights by chance? Thanks!
