Quick question about lowering springs
I'm putting Whiteline Control springs on my 97 LGT Wagon. Do I need to worry about tire toe/camber or anything like that? It will only drop 0.5-1.0" from what I hear, which is fine for me. Just wanna know if I gotta worry about anything else. I will be taking it for an alignment at the dealership after the springs go on with some KYB GR-2 struts at the same time.

All things being equal, lowering springs will add negative camber. More negative camber is good in the front. You might want to ask you alignment guy to give you as much in front as the suspension will allow. Whether more in the rear is better depends on how your car behaves with the upgrades. If the car doesn't rotate as you like, a little less negative camber will help. If it's a little too tailahappy, a little more will tame it a bit.

Hmmmm, so right after I get the springs & struts installed, any issues with taking her for a test drive to see what kind of adjustments I need? Obviously its bad to drive for a while if you need an alignment, but I would like to see if it is too tailhappy.
My biggest concern with the lowering springs was excessive tire wear; I knew a guy (a dumbass mind you) who lowered his Accord (LOL, yeah, I know) and the genius didn't do it right & ended up chewing through one of his tires. |

Toe is a bigger tire eater than camber. Keep toe at zero, and the right amount of negative camber in front will actually help even tire wear. At stock specs I was wearing out the outside of the front tires; at -1.5* I get they wear evenly.
