Help! 2002 Wrx Not making full boost!
My wrx is only making 5-8psi boost when it should be making 15/16 psi, its not my gauge because it feels slow. I bought the car and it made normal boost for 2 weeks and has had this issue since, it once fixed itself for 3 days but than went back to the issue.
For reference, i have a 2002 wrx with Cobb stage 2 Dynotune(no access port) gutted up pipe, gutted downpipe, cobb catback exhaust, perrin intake tube. Things i did to try and fix it: WD-40 and wiggle the wastegate actuator arm Replaced T hoses, thetop 2 vaccum lines to actuator and to turbo (pill included) Pulled off line to wastegate actuator and it made 20+psi so that can rule out a busted turbo. Replaced Boost control Solonoid and tested the wire to the solonoid. Reset the ECU many times (popped off negative wire overnight) Fixed the crooked intake hose in the Picture Things to note: Went over intake hoses and lines and no apparent signs of a leak or cracks No apparent pre turbo exhaust leaks Turbo still makes positive Pressure and builds it quickly Can hear turbo spooling. I have no idea what it could be and its driving me crazy, please help!! image was before new vaccum lines but im sure its piped correct. http://imgur.com/a/W4Ll9ga Last edited by Creativelemon; 02-09-2019 at 02:10 PM. |
