Default GC8 Power Steering Pump Upgrades?

I'm looking for a replacement for my power steering pump from my '95 WRX motor. I've upgraded to the '04 STI rack, so wondering if a newer pump would fit 'easily enough'? Anyone put in a newer pump? Perhaps (just getting crazy here) an '04 STI pump?

I think the pump and bracket are different on the GD chassis, but don't quote me.

Get the pump and see if it fits the bracket

If 3 bolts hold the pump to the bracket it would probably fit ~ I know the 99+ pumps fit 98's (allows more clearance for the bigger intakes) but not sure about newer versions

1995 almost 22B:)

Works just fine. I have an 04 STI pump on an EJ22t in a 95 coupe with a 95 steering rack and bent up 95 power steering lines.
