Default Hello, Newbie here...

Hi all, I have browsed this forum for quite awhile and I now finally registered...pathetic ehhh? Anyways, much love to the forester community. My first choice was a WRX wagon but I needed more room! I own a 2003 forester X, slightly modified. I love my car but the only thing I regret is that about a week after I bought my forester, Subaru announced the XT ...however putting that aside, I am now content with what I got and will stay N/A. Initially I was thinking of trading my forester in and taking a slight lost as soon as the XT is realease. Now, I have grown to love my forester and I couldn't bare the pain if I lose it. My future goal now (within 1 & 1/2 to 2 yrs) is to reach the 200hp benchmark N/A and I will be tuning with COBB in doing so. I am looking forward to share and provide knowledge, tips, and tricks with all of you.

Thumbs up

Welcome, tre36. Don't sweat the XT -- things like this always happen with any product. If it wasn't meant to be, it wasn't meant to be. The X is a fine vehicle. Just think of the money you have saved by not going XT.

Also, the XT will be using an all-new engine. I think it would be wise to sit back and see how it performs before jumping ship.
