Hey guys.. I'm new to NASIOC, but wanted to know everyones opinion on the best car detail products on the market today. I want to buy a solid kit, even if I have to piece it all together.

I just got my 2011 SWP STi on Thursday and want to know the best practices for keeping her beautiful, exactly how she looked when we met! I live in So Cal, so the weather isn't really that bad, ever!

Thanks for your help guys..

***8230;.when you ask folks what they think is "best", you might as well ask them what their favorite color or flavor is. A lot of it is subjective opinion based solely on their own experience (limited or otherwise). The question I always ask someone looking for products is "what have you tried, what do you have and what are you looking for?" I also strongly suggest that they do some reading first. If you're going to spend money on products and tools, you might as well learn how to effectively apply them to your application.

There are a myriad of products out there that all work well for others but the idea is to find what works for you. Your best bet is likely to hook up with a vendor so they can piece together a starter kit for you. ***8230;.DetaliersDomain and AutoAesthica are both vendors here and I'm sure would be more than glad to help.

***8230;.and here's a thread with some links to detailing articles/ videos, etc. that should help get you started:

There are also a few recent threads with some candid conversation in the detailing sections where people ask similar questions you did.

And while there are some products 90 percent of people may agree is the best in a certain category, in some cases what might be #1 to one person may be #8 to another.

Take a look at these:
