Default Nuts and Bolts for Lift Spacers

I'm going to use lift spacers to raise my 09 FXT a bit on STI takeoffs. I think it's a bit too low and sags. Plan is to raise 1/4" in front and 3/4" in rear. I will also have strut/shock tower braces so I plan on using longer bolts to replace the tophat studs.

I know there are lift spacers offered that are threaded, some fancy enough where the HDPE is molded to have nuts pressed in. They are a bit pricey for me.

For those that use nuts and bolts to replace the tophat studs and use non-threaded lift spacers, is it not a pain in the butt? I'd imagine you would have to keep the bolts from falling out of the tophats as you install them to the chassis. And even when you can get nuts on the bolts, now you have to prevent the bolts from spinning as you tighten the nuts. Almost seems like a 2-man job especially for the rear.

Am I missing something? Or is this what I have to deal with if I get non-threaded lift spacers that are more economical? I'm currently looking into Paranoid Fabrications.
