Default STI badges on WRX?

I hope this is the correct forum. Anyways, do you think it is okay to put STI badges (grill, trunk) on your WRX?

No. Even though STI is a division of Subaru it is not ok to badge a WRX with STI badges as in the US it is considered a model in the line up.

This is like putting an SRT-4 badge on a stock Neon b/c SRT is a division of Dodge.

It is your car, do what you want.

I prefer badging my cars with stickers personally.

I voted no because I would feel like a dumb ass putting STi stickers on my wrx, but if your running an STi swap maybe that would be a little less rice....

dunno, it's an opinion thing. there's no right or wrong. I'm not much for badges. I'd take mine off if I was going to keep it for ever

It's your car, do what you want with it. It's not like you are putting Ferrari badges on a Yugo. Just be aware people on here are going to flame you for it, if you care about such things, which apparently you do, since you posted a poll.

the dude I bought my trunk from had two of them, the traditional pink one and this one,

I was planning on removing them both, but when I took the pink one off it took some paint with it, so the rectangle one stays. I don't feel too bad about it though, I don't wash my car much so it's usually just covered in dirt.

I haven't done this, was just giving it thought because I see a lot of people on nasioc with them and wanted to know what people think about it.

If you have some significant Sti parts.. why not? Sti genome exhausts have gone on wrx's, top mounts, vf turbos, up pipes, etc... I wouldnt personally put Sti on my car which is why i got the solid colored fog covers but do what you like

+1 Putting badges on Hybrids (EJ257 or built motor swapped WRX's) could get NASIOC's approval but just slapping them on a WRX b/c it looks cool

Either way... it's YOUR car & YOU bought the badge so it's whatever. I even saw a guy w/ an S204 badge on an 08 WRX sedan . I would have kicked him in the balls if I saw him though!

I would feel like a poser if I did that. Even though I have an STI wing, it at least serves a funtion.
