Default Noise with Cobb catted downpipe/stock exhuast?

Looking at some light modifications; AP Stage 2 and a Cobb catted down-pipe on a stock exhaust with a K&N drop-in filter. Just running spirited errands in the car.. not tracking it, not racing, no hard launches, no dip-**** behavior. I like how quiet the car is now with stock everything. I don't want to hear that fart-pipe rumble or have any drone in the car.

Am I looking at a significant noise increase with the Cobb catted down-pipe and a factory cat-back on a 2003 WRX?

I ran a similar setup on my '04 STi and it was definitely louder with the non-catted DP on the stock STi exhuast, but that exhaust is louder to begin with. Loved my STi in the mountains but that thing felt like a tin-can from the factory and was terrible to ride in on long trips, both suspension-wise and noise-wise. The WRX is much quieter stock vs. stock.

It will be a tiny bit throatier but that's it.

Probably the quietest "performance" setup you can have. I ran it for awhile and appreciated the lack of noise and attention. Running similar now but with an STi muffler: still quiet.
