Default Reputable Transmission shop

2006 WRX Wagon 5-speed 172K, stock aside from engine, trans, and pitch mounts as well as shifter bushings. Located in Middle Georgia, willing to travel.
Transmission has begun to make horrific noises and is need of a rebuild. I need to find a reputable shop to rebuild with either the RA gear set or the Legacy GT gear set.
I have searched the forums, and nothing newer than 2012 has been posted. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

2003 Baja

I do know that the Subaru Dealership in Asheboro NC has some pretty amazing mechanics on staff or at least one that goes by "sparky". Have not taken anything there for transmission issues but if that is close to you it might be a good spot.

I myself just became the owner of a 2004 Baja and it has what looks like "infrastructure damage/missing in the front end where it seems damage was disguised at some point. Also there is a bit of rust underneath it.. I am looking for a good bodyshop that can evaluate these two items and potentially help with them as well as future modifications. I am in the Greensboro / Winston-Salem NC area.
