Default Performance shop in NC. Charlotte/Raleigh/ETC

Itís been a very long time, but Iím back around. Fell on hard times, sold my 08 STI. Bought an 09 LGT two years later and ran stage two for 7 flawless years. Sold at 175k.

So now Iím back in the Subaru world looking to have a good fun daily. Currently have a 97 legacy outback with a popped motor (it was free.99) the car is in excellent shape minus the motor and being auto.

So long story short, I need to find a shop in the Charlotte/Raleigh/Winston/Greensboro tri-cities area. Iíll bring the car and drop it, and will have an EJ20K with trans (and possibly more goodies) shipped to the shop. I do not have the space or time to do the swap, since I just completely packed up my life and moved home to NC. I just need someone with the skills and know how to drop the motor in and wire it all up, plus source pedals and other small various bits for the swap.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'd honestly talk with I-wire ahead of time for the harness work. I largely wouldn't trust just any shop for the harness merge/electrical work.

Most shops also probably won't want to do that work, as it is quite labor (time) intensive and that bill will scare most away. I-wire is really affordable for the work.

Shift Fast in Rock Hill, SC is another good option to talk with.

In Raleigh I believe it's called Phantasm Motorsports. Always drive past it and see Subaru's outside.
