Well when I had my 06 ldt. WRX I had a wagon I preferred the sleeper look. I not much done on it front and rear sway bar, Ravspec h brace, Greddy exhaust. 3in pipping all around (up & down pipe, and headders) stage to Exeedy clutch.

had to sell the car due to and emergency b4 I was deployed

I'm 45 and just bought a 2011 STI 5-door. I've got a cat-back coming in next week.

I'm over 30 and have an 04 wagon with 375whp. But it looks stock for the most part (unless you catch the Perrin fmic), and no badges.

squid you can't be serious, the wrx/sti doesn't even have power seats, how many other $40K sedans can say that? i don't have the time nor the inclination to retrieve "data" to back up what amounts to a universal consensus amongst professional auto rag writers. watch the head to head comparo featuring the wrx on motortrend.com and listen to what jonny lieberman has to say about the fake carbon fiber trim -- and that guy owns a wrx!

for comparison sakes, the LGT had 8 way pwr perforated leather seats with adjustable lower lumbar support ten years ago. while it may be cool that there are 55+ year old enthusiasts on here that track their wrx wagon with aftermarket exhaust and hella horns, the fact remains that is not the norm for this age group.

To me, the interior is pretty so so. I mean my BRZ has welcome/puddle lights when a car 10k more can't add that but they took the time to work in a special noise creator? Then there is the same leather/alcantara that I have in the BRZ. Really don't understand why there was not a seat upgrade offered on the base level STI where a person could opt for full leather with heated/cooled seat option vs spending all the extra money for a limited with only gets leather and heat only. Which I would never do because of the weight of the sunroof and the cost of the wheels I wouldn't want knowing I would change them down the road. No power seats really suck as well. And the red seat trim, I can't decide if it's just ok or I hate it. On the LE I can see using a two tone because it is a limited release but the red trim would be one of the things that I would want to change for sure by way of clazzio or katzkin covers.

I for one was glad to not have a power drivers seat in my WRX. Every time someone else would drive my Legacy it took days to get it adjusted quite right. My 99 Chrysler had two memory settings on the drivers seat. I've come to terms that my Subaru cars wouldn't have this feature so manual seats are the next best thing.

I do find that it's odd that my 14 doesn't display instantaneous mileage or have a radio that actually sounds good or offers a decent display, especially since the radio on my wife's 14 FXT sounds so much better and has HD radio even if it's basic. All I really want is a good sounding unit.

I'm just wondering because this will dictate how I build my car when I pay it off. Im currently 28 and like the racer look, but not sure if it would look cool when im above 30, (ex. too boy racer)

I love the title of this thread because I am 31 one and questioning the same thing. haha. I had my WRX until just this year then a stupid little accident totaled my car and now I am on the hunt for 2015 possibly. I have owned my 2004 wrx since 2004 and back then it wasn't as cool to own one because it wasn't made popular by the X-games. I feel as you get older you realize it is a lifestyle choice to own a subaru because you are owning for all the reasons a subaru should be owned, not because travis, buckey, and mirra are driving them. Don't get me wrong those guys drive better than I do on an autoX course, and I have respect for them, but to see all these 16 yr old kids getting new sti's because its cool and totaling them is crazy. Anyway I think my comment turned more into a rant. sorry about that.

I'm 34, female, married (DH does not currently even have a license), and have wanted a WRX since university.

I pick up my white 2015 on Friday.

I can't mod it (lease) but don't feel I need to anyway, apart from tinting the windows.

I'm 39 and about to take delivery of my '15 WRX with dark tint and subwoofer plus upgraded speakers.

When I was 29 I was pondering between a Dodge SRT-4 (very boy-racer) and an Infiniti G35. Both had similar acceleration and, to me, the main difference was the "image" factor. I was at the crossroads between my 20s and my 30s and it seemed like the SRT-4 was a car for a twenty-something and the Infiniti was a car for a thirty-something.

I thought I was going to have more fun with the SRT-4, while the G35 would create a level of expectation among the people who know me about what else I have in my life and what my next car would be after that. I said "screw the social pressure" and got the SRT-4 (and added dark tint and a heavy sound system) and never regretted it. I still own it and it just turned 10 years old last month.

The funny thing was that I ended up buying fancier, more expensive cars in the years that followed (a brand new Z06 and a brand new ZR-1), so if I had bought the G35 I would not have had a problem with high expectations. But I still have a disregard for social pressure and I encourage you to take into account only what *you* want from your car and not how others might judge you.

In my 30's and progressively buying cars with more HP now that insurance rates are falling with my age, lack of tickets, etc. In my 20's there is no way I could have afforded an STI, Cayman etc insurance rates. I didn't have a licence for 11 months when I was 24 due to speeding tickets lol. Older and wiser now, no time for BS like that. If I want to go fast I go to a track. Too many douche bag paul walker wannabe's running around the streets all vtec and nawz. Too fast..too crispy.

Finally think I found one. Have a dealer that is supposed to call me back my 9am with what he hopes is an unclaimed STI with nav/keyless. Fingers crossed.

I'm 32. This is my second wrx first was 2011. Installing rok blokz mud flaps this weekend. I got a 2015 white with cvt and drives really good. Can barely feel it shift in intelligent mode. only have a 100 miles so far. I got this in Charlotte, nc. They gave me it at invoice and had to get it from another dealer 15 miles away

I posted in this thread already but I sold my 02 wrx Miss it dearly. Although now I'm a 2015 owner! hooray! I like the 2015 more because its less of a boy racer looking car. Very subtle. I didn't even want a spoiler on it but after looking at the sleek spoiler it comes with I'm very happy. It looks like a nice sports car from the front and a regular car from the back. Exactly what I want right now.

Me too! I was sad to have sold my bug eye...but out with the old and in with the new! It's not love at first sight, but it know my new 2015 and I are gonna have some good times!
