![]() I've been tuning my 05 Outback XT in AccessTuner, and I can't get A/F Learning #1 to disable when I want it to. I played around with a few different Airflow Limits, and landed on wanting it to disable Range D at 80 g/s. I didn't have any problem getting Range D to disable in early revisions when I was trying out different thresholds. My ranges are set at 5.60, 17.00, and 81. My A/F Learning #1 Modify Airflow Limit (Max) is 80 g/s.
From everything I read, this should make it stop applying learning above 80 g/s, but I'm seeing it applied even up close to 300 g/s. It's usually less than 3%, but occasionally it's over 3%. Sometimes, when it is, I get knock. What could be keeping me from disabling A/F Learning at higher airflow? Less importantly, why does it even have Learning values this high when my Correction has always been disabled way before this point? I thought Learning was based on Correction values.

![]() Someone pointed out to me that A/F Learning Smoothing applies even after Learning is disabled. Thought I'd post the answer to my own problem rather than delete.
