Post Mod-friendly Dealers

If you've dealt with a Subaru retail facility that's sensible about modifications vs. warranty, please post the dealer's name and location. I'm trying to come up with a good list of realistic dealers who won't try to tell you that an intake tube caused your sunroof to break....

Funny that you'd mention this - I just had my first "dealing" with the local dealer's service department here, in Columbia. I have some squeeking sounds coming from around the right front strut/engine area, very faint ones. We drove with the tech around, listening, but couldn't determine exactly where they're coming from. Came back, popped the hood and tried rocking the car a back and forth to re-create the sounds, w/o any luck. I told him that I originally thought it might be my intake pipe (Larry's intake), but that I've already checked it and as it is in very tight and surrounded by rubber, I don't think that that's it. He tried moving it around, unsuccessfully and didn't make any comment. He seemed "cool" with it, but I won't vouch for that just yet. At least the fact that he didn't make any negative comments about the pipe right after the opening I think(hope) suggests that he's alright with it.

Subaru of Schaumburg is pretty good about it. Never had any problems with them.

I've heard that Gerald Subaru of Naperville is pretty bad, and I've personally talked to the guys at Gary Lang and they don't seem too thrilled about it.

Just stay away from Roto in Arlington Heights. They tried to accuse me of using NOS on my car based on what they saw(lowered car with rims and tint job). Doesn't make any sense.

Question

Forgive me for my ignorance, but what does NOS stand for?!
