Post 2011-2014 Front bumper replacement

And once again, I come to you guys for help.

So I've got a 2013 WRX that has a bumper that's torn apart on the passenger side due to me plowing into the side on to a snowbank. It needs to be replaced but for some reason, I can't find anywhere/anyplace to get a painted replacement bumper. I can find the OEM unprimed but I haven't been able to find a painted new bumper. I'm a little surprised. Either way, I don't care if it's OEM or 3rd party as long as it looks/fits the same it's all the same to me.

Let me know if you guys know of any sites or locations that I can go to replace my bumper. I'm located in Albany, NY.

Thanks in advance guys.

Any decent body shop will be able to paint it for you no problem. A friend of mine owns a shop, got a bumper from him for $550 painted.

This allows OEM to sell 1 bumper to fit all cars vs. stock per paint color. Plus paint color changes with age so you need it paint matched. Youll pay 2x the cost of the bumper to get it painted.. $550-$600 total.

FYI. I went through the same thing with ***8216;12 WRX after hitting a cat. I ultimately took it to George's in Cohoes. They repaired and repainted the busted bumper for $500 cash. It's been 10+ months and doing great. I've also had them do some work on my wife's ***8216;16 Impreza. Pretty happy with the results.

Late to the thread but has anyone done a replace themselves? I'm in a similar boat and the parts under the bumper by the frame have cracked and broken as well. So I know what OEM bumper I want to buy but can't seem to find a good diagram/list of the inner parts that will need to be removed/replaced too.

Thanks in advance

Joe

Bumper is super easy to remove the grill comes off attached to the bumper if you break any of the plastic buttons or loose any is the only thing to worry about.

Theres one pin size button that holds the bumper in place located through the fender on both sides.

Grill buttons by radiator
Two pin buttons
Fender buttons around the bottom, fenders

Pull the bumper right off.
