Subaru Badge Foam
So I just did my STI trunk swap on my 17 WRX. The guy I swapped with had previously debadged the trunk. The think is, I like the badges. I even got gloss black ones to replace them. I know the factory badges come with a foam to aid in their perfect placement, but I don’t want to pay for the whole thing just to use the foam. Does anyone know a resource to locate just the foam, perhaps someone out there had rebadged their trunk and still has? I was thinking body shops, but I’m lookin for something so specific that is usually thrown away I think. Any ideas? Thanks!

I think you mean "form" or template. The best thing to do would be to find someone with the badging still on their trunk, lay some painters tape around the badge and make reference marks on the tape where the badge and trunk edges lay. Then just move the template you made over to your trunk, line up the edge marks and stick it on then install your badge using the template for perfect placement.

The 15+ uses a double sided foam to mount the badge. This should be what you're looking for: https://www.amazon.com/3M-Heavy-Moun...M8WKSDWE8FYWFC |

Your best bet is to layer up some painters tape on someone else's car, mark everything, peel it off in one piece, then apply it on your car and place the badges.

Possibly try bringing blue tape to a dealer and make your own template. Try making sure you get to the edge as to know where to place on yours.
