Default The Official Colorado/Denver thread

Attention all Subie lovers in the Colorado area.

If you haven't noticed, a large majority of the topics in the RMIC forum are Utah centric. What's the reason for this you ask?

www.awdpirates.net

This is the local forum where the majority of Colorado Subie (and other AWD vehicles) owners play. There are very few Coloradans that visit the RMIC regularly, so most of time if a Colorado question arises the OP is directed to Pirates anyways. Feel free to either post here or start a new thread but if you'd like a prompt local response its best to head over to the ship.

<DLC> Old thread is here if you really wanna see it.

Default HID Installs in Denver, CO

Hello,

I just moved to Denver and am looking for a shop that installs HIDs.

I was told Tint Tech was one that did it, but tried calling their number and it says the subscriber cannot be reached.

Are there any others in the area?

Regards,

ZMaster

It's a pretty simple DIY, but if you are incapable, ask on awdpirates.net that's where the Colorado folk are.

In your regional forum, I would guess. They may even have a separate forum aside from NASIOC... just how most people in Toronto/around Toronto seem to go to the Toronto Subaru Club.

I have an 03 WRX and am trying to put a few mods in. I have an aftermarket exhaust that's cat back. I am looking for a downpipe, uppipe, BOV, air intake system. Basically im trying to find a place or person that could get me a good deal. I am fine with new or used as long as it works. so if you know anything it would be much apriciated.. thanks

Hit up Boston Motorsports in the vendor section, ask for Dan, he'll help you out.

I would make a stonger statement but this is the Newbie section and I have to set an example.

(pssst.....forget the bov and intake and you'll be good)

re-reading your post, if the up pipe has never been upgraded, do that first. The stock one in your 03 has a cat in it. When that starts to break up, it will eat up your turbo.

and your state is spelled Colorado

I always liked importimageracing.com there are a lot of sites to order parts, fellow members will usually hook it up a little, plus its good to support them, for an uppipe, I have the grimmspeed coated and still to this day, vf39 and all is my favorite and the sexiest part on my car. Also jna performance does a great job. Do some research around the boards and ask questions. I also have an 03 and would be glad to help In any way I can with your questions. Good luck!

We have both a private and vendor classified section. There are one or two parts for sale in there.
