Default The Big SLC Thread. Ver 2. The resurrection.

Since a certain mod messed up the last one, asked me to make a new one, somehow messed that one up too, I have created a new catch-all SLC/Utah thread, this thread willbe for general chit chat, and any questions you might have that can be easily answered in one or two responses. Please do not get butt hurt if someone pokes fun of you, that's just how we roll. Now if a certain mod who's mane rhymes with fan can please not mess this up and sticky it that would be good.

1-Brody has the softest hands.

2nd. I really want us to try and keep the thread section clear. Majority of the new threads can be posted in the big slc thread (this thread), and answered / discussed.

Default Rebuilding Coilovers

Does anyone know someone or a shop that can rebuild a blown strut for me?

Some coilovers are not rebuildable or worth the cost if they are. I'd personally say save up for some better coilovers or strut and spring combo.

Yeah, it drives fine right now. Just makes an annoying noise... So I figure I'll just use my tax return and get some nicer ones. Thanks my man

What kind of sound? Could be something minor and not needing full replacement.

It's just like a clunk, you'll be driving and it'll just be a banging noise... Not constant. Every few minutes or so

Ok, new here. Recently bought a 2004 wrx wagon for my daily. I'm a VW guy, OH NOES.
Bought it in the winter time and from my memory the AC worked.
Had it recharged beginning of summer because I thought that's why it didn't work, and it needed to be charged anyway.
Now it seems like the pulley for the AC is bad, or the whole unit is bad because it'll work for a bit, but then clunk intermittently and the AC stops working.
Any thoughts? I'm guessing the whole thing is bad. Just a little video I made to show the issue.

Does anyone know of a muffler shop that is safe for lowered cars? Couldn't get onto the ramps at the master muffler by my house...

so your car is too low to put on flat ramps with maybe a 2" lip on the side to prevent a car from falling off? I think you're pretty much screwed if that's the case.

These and they make a chrome set and one with angel eyes. Maybe you can get the angel eyes change out the blue bulbs with brown bulbs so its a preunner letting everyone know you are open for business like a taxi cab.
