Default 2018 WRX front bumper enhancement

I decided to upgrade my front bumper to the 2018 bumper. I love the new look and liked it even more when I saw the subispeed video of the bumpers they're selling with the gloss black finish in the matte black portion of the bumper.

To complete the look I added my own flavor by also painting the factory OEM bezels with a high gloss finish while I wait for an aftermarket LED bezel that won't cost me as much as the JDM ones.

Looks good! I am also waiting for a jdm style fog for the 18 that's not $500. Not coming out as fast as I'd like it to! Also what lip is that on there?

I got the lip from eBay... such a perfect fit with no gaps and it comes painted glossy black. Definitely the best lip on eBay.

I like the idea. The only thing that is off for me is that the black plastic is textured. It only they had those sections smooth, the gloss black would really accent the look. I'm thinking a piano black feel. Props for the effort. Nice to see another from NH too.

Link to said LED aftermarket bezel?

You can't pull that out that's all one plastic bumper.

As far as mounting the bumper itself, is it a bolt up replacement to the 15-17? You'd think there'd be a little wiggling that would have to be accounted for.

Do you have a part number or website link? I cannot find a bezel with both turn signal and fog light for the 2018 models.

Thanks a ton! We have different model line-ups here in Canada so the Bezel doesn't exist with our models.

That looks great. How did you prep the oem part for painting and did you use spray paint?

I've been looking to do something like this on my 2018 limited WRX as well. Where did you get the turn signals you're installing?
