I don't know much about the basic ones but I've heard they start to warp after a while. I was turned off by the price of the urethane ones and ended up finding a used pair on this forum for half the price of new. They were slightly used but cleaned up real nice - they get filthy in a day anyways.

I wouldn't get the base version flaps. They are basically cutouts of floor mats haha. I would just pay the extra $50 for the nice ones

Took me a little under an hour to get all 4 on and didn't have to drill anything.

I was amazed by all the crap that got stuck behind/inside the factory guards though... Mine looked like I had a squirrel living there.
Yeah the driver side front and rears weren't too bad.. it was the pass. side front that was a total bitch. Not sure why.. I couldn't get that middle screw started and damned clip kept falling and then I had to start over several times. Took an extra hour of more just doing that. Of course it was dark by then, maybe that had something to do with it.

There are two options on the rear, a drilling option and a no-drilling option. I went with drilling option, so took off rear wheels too. I also used silicone for rust prevention where I drilled the holes.

Yeah LOL, a long loan, but good rate. I put the 7 year/ 100,000 mile Subaru warranty on there too though. The car was only something like $17,400.

My amp fried in dramatic fashion yesterday and I thought my car was going to catch on fire. That would have been ironic!

POS MTX amp. They used to be good, back n the '90s. Now those amps are just Chinise crap. Oh well...

Well I took some nice photos today of my car but NASIOC for some reason just will not let me upload the photos. I tried photobucket and flickr. Oh well. I guess I'll keep trying till I get them up.

I somehow was able to get photobucket to work.

Here's some pics from a little driveway shoot testing various settings. Btw, the front bumper damage is from a raccoon trying to cross the street without looking both ways.

Damned racoons. Same thing happened to me. Was going 60mph at night and damn thing ran out and committed vehicular suicide. Nothing I could do.

Instead of replacing entire bumper with insurance money (they wanted to put a cheap chinese copy bumper on there), I just got a painted front lip and all the plastic brackets that broke and the tow-hook cover - and fixed it myself.. and then had tow-hook cover painted at a body shop.

Came out very nice. The worst part about the raccoon incident for me was that it decided to commit suicide about a week after getting a new bumper, tow piece, and it freshly painted from an accident the previous owner was in. I was so butthurt that I just said screw it and that's how it still looks haha.

My 2.5i is a 5MT with a WRX rear swaybar. It's not fast but it is nimble. Kind of an NC Miata type of feeling.

I always like the Linear vs. Aero naming. I thought it was a very Saab distinction.

Literally could not have a different offset or wider tire at all, after my lowering job I had it loaded with gear and it sits about 1mm from the tire side wall when it tucks in the fender! Guess I could roll the rears if I wanted a wider offset.

They look great man! That's what I have too, any bigger and you're just running way too thin of profile tires that you'll be replacing after every pothole
