^^ interesting. The turbo that he has of mine right now was sent in for rebuilding. it was rebuilt once by DB; obviously not too well since it only lasted 5000 miles.

I know some shops/people on here have a lot more money tied up with DB right now than I do....has anybody tried to push a lawsuit yet?

I think I am one of Deadbolt last victims... The cvharger I had installed died ASAP, sent it back and they came up with a olist of excuses Y it did not perform. After showing the blown impeller parts to a few people they all pretty much agree what deadbolt said was a pile of poo.

They essentially made me eat the repair and then proceded to go belly up...Guess what, the rebuilt turbo is much nicer than the first one but it is not up to snuff with what I paid for.

Honestly after the crap they oulled with me I sincerely hope they get what they paid for.

We were also closed for a long time because of the damage to the shop from lightning (and if any of you want proof I'll post the receipts of over $100K in repairs, new equipment, and electrician work.) It took a long time but anybody that had sent an email or PM during that closing time was answered.

As far as you go SSFWRX, yes you DID fry your turbo due to lack of proper oiling and I still have the pics and teardown report to prove it. Show them to any other turbo shop and they'll tell you the same thing. You are just pissed off and trying to take this opportunity to "get your revenge". Get over yourself, you screwed up and got busted on it. Yes, I will take responsibility for things that have gone wrong here, I am the one that hired people that screwed us over, but your problems are YOUR problems, not ours or mine. Burned to a crisp bushings, blued turbine shaft, and fried thrust bearing don't lie, there's nothing else that causes that type of damage.

Maestro, please PM me directly on this username so we can figure out what has gone on.
All I have to say is with this reply and attitude there is no way I am dealing with your company when I do my turbo upgrade. This as about as unprofessional as it gets for a company. If you treat people like this on the board when you know people are going to read it I do not even want to know how you are going to treat a customer on the phone or via PMs when you know that no one else is a part of it.

This is just horrible customer service.

I believe they are out of business so you probably wouldn't deal with them anyway.

I just checked their site to confirm my statement and almost pissed my pants I laughed so hard. Check it out:
http://www.boostplanet.com/

All of their old content pages are available off of Google but the home page has some crazy info about a CHILD MOLESTER name MILTON GOLDIN.

and my dog ate my homework...lol

Hmmm, I also may have to get married now, seeing as how it can be used as an excuse for never shipping someone's $1500 turbo back to them, even after double-digit emails and phone calls over a 6 month period.

Must be a looooong honeymoon.

There should be a lawsuit by now, good lord! I have tried also getting a hold of them via email/phone and such, no replies for months now. They gave me the same crap about my vf37 turbo blowing for some strange chemicals mixed in the oil, and was only after 6 days of use, Another guy with the same turbo and at the same time had his there did the SAME THING and mods i did and had the same problem, Coincidence? I think not! I slapped my stock turbo back on and drove it for 5k miles with NO Issues on the SAME oil they said was bad. They told me to get an oil analysis and so I did and 2 months later after getting it back it said no change to oil its PERFECT! this was also on my new 8,000klm ej207. odd work going on there...

That was me. My problem was a couple of things...
1. someone in the shop put used parts in my turbo hoping no one would notice.
2. my shop believes the turbo blew crap into my motor, causing 2 oil pumps to fail from a clogged plunger.
3. no matter how many times we flushed the motor we couldn't get all of the crap out because of the different areas where oil pools.
4. my turbo was sent back to deadbolt and coincidentally destroyed in shipping (along with 9 other turbos that same week or so).
5. I bought a new vf37 and because of the oil contamination both the turbo and motor were ultimately compromised.
6. The whole experience cost me two turbos, 3 oil pumps, labor, months of car rentals, and a motor... totaling over $10k.

Can't you read? He's a child molester.

I suspect the site was taken down and the hosting company put up that public service announcement in it's place. Although if you know the URLs you can still get to the content pages that still exist on the server...

I know a little bit about the situation. Basically Jerry had done some business with Milton Goldin. Regarding service work on his turbo's. I don't know all the detaild. Or know who was at fault. Basically Milton did a dispute on his cc against Jerry for his services on his turbochargers. So as I guess payback Jerry looked him up and posted him up on the main screen of his own website.

Take care!

DON'T send this guy anything, unless you don't want it back. I asked above if he was still in "business" because I could see someone this shady still accepting turbos for "rebuilds" and then re-selling them on Ebay or something.

I think it's kind of funny that someone might have an opportunity to read all of these bad experiences in this thread and still ask if they can send their turbo to them.

It almost sees worth the airfare for me to fly there and get my turbo back. How much of lazy person can you be to not even ship back a box you didn't open? Heck id even pay the cost, it's better them being out $1500.

kiss it buhbye...IMHO.

I had to have my charger rebuilt as it popped last year, it pretty much took a threat of sending everyone I know i from the area going to his shop to kick his ass and get my turbo back.... Even after they said the repair was complete it tooks weeks to pry it out of them...

Looking at my now melted down turbo it is clear twhat happened. IT looks just like used parts were put in it... At this point I can not 100% sure he even sent me back my original unit...

Srry if I offend... regardless of health issues he should have had his act together and had a contingency plan. Since he did not and it looks like he screwed the world... I sincerely beleive he is harvesting what he has sewn and will probably spend an enternity in hell rebuilding turbo's with a popcicle stick...

Zilla TD60H 18G with a super secret squirrel compressor (smaller) modified for low end...

It's coming out Friday and sent to Blouch where we will explore the possibilities of a rebuild or strappin' on a Garret GT30R...

all of this has caused me to explore a second car... found a decent 2 Door, 5 speed RS floating around...

First - The information on Deadbolt's website about Milton Goldin is 100% true and accurate and can be verified through the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Sex Offender Registry, the Houston County, GA Sheriff's office Sex Offender registry or the National Sex Offender Registry. Despite his claims to the contrary, he is also 100% guilty as charged, and I have the confessions he's made to prove it. Incidentally, this was not the first time he was charged for such things. He simply had his prior record expunged.

Second - I know Milton Goldin Jr. personally, and I would not have any dealings with the man, professional or personal, under any circumstances.

Feel free to email me through this forum if you have any questions about Milton.
