I recently decided to go beyond stage 2 after overhauling my engine with leaking head gaskets. I worked with many fine NASIOC vendors getting a lot of upgrades.

Matt at Slow Boy Racing went through a lot of questions patiently and worked with me to get a good deal. I bought my ATP 3076R turbo and Spearco TMIC from them.

From pre-sale through to receipt everything went smoothly. By the time I was looking for tracking information the parts were arriving. I do wish I would have gotten tracking in advance since signer had to be present and I didn't know the parts were arriving when they were. But all in all I would say my experience with SBR was positive.

Props to Matt and Tim from SBR for taking care of me on a port & polish/heat coat job for the used vf43 that I recently acquired. I needed a quick turnaround time so Matt walked me through the whole process, assured me the turbo would be done by the weekend, and Tim recommended heat coating given that it would be a convenient time to do so.

Ended up getting a really competitive price, turbo was picked up this past Friday on my lunch break, and today I have a VF'd wagon. The finished product looks like a brand new turbo and spool time/response is awesome. Really happy that I ended up going with the heat coating because under hood temperatures are lower (compared to my old TD04) which is helpful with a TMIC and unshielded intake.

Be aware of Slow Boy Racing!!!!!!!!

To cut a long story short if your purchases have gone through ok then thats great!!

However if you encounter any problems with the postage or items not arriving expect little to no help in resolving your issues from SBR! Customer Service is non existence when you have problems, you will get fed emails with no progress thats if you get a reply.....

I have since taken my business elsewhere and would steer absolutely clear of SBR, which is what i should have done in the begining but with promising of exceptional service I decided to give them a go, turns out all lies.... I have not made a big loss just lost a full set of brake pads

Definitely a lesson to be learnt and for others to be aware of...

Over seas shipments are not the easiest to control - most turn out awesome, but if USPS or UPS or FEDex losses a package and won't pay a claim because they say the customer has the product - there is not much we can do to help.

Also - any over seas customers who ask for "lower values" - remember, if your package gets lost you were the one who wanted to try and save on duties and ask for a lower value - you will only be able to get reimbursed for the lower value!

Just a thought, but thanks for the bump whomever you are!

I wouldnt exactly call this bump something to be proud of...... and whomever I am...??? I thought you were a company of great customer service....?

either way i have taken this as a loss and just expressing my experience I have had and not going to waste my time with you anymore, will order the brake pads from another vendor - and going by the feedback from others I am not the only one who has come across issues....

Firstly lets get a few points right here:

- If the brakes were packaged in the first place then we wouldnt be in this situation. I had to prove to you that the brakes werent sent in the original package and even then it took a few days, overall it stuffed up my plans.
About the value you cant really lower the value on a set of brake pads... what its worth about $150? rememebr thats all that was sent in the second package.
Even if it was devalued and i got half of it back, its better than nothing.

As I originally mentioned in my first post if the package arrives then thats great - as i did recieve the original shipment - but missing the brake pads, after sales support service is at zero....

- How many pm's and emails I sent to you that went ignored when there were delays???? When going for the sale its was lightning fast response, when there is problems - its a total different story....

- USPS did acknowledge that the package has not arrived - so why are you saying that they have acknowledge the package being delivered? I personally called them as I knew you wernt going to help, and when I did they did infact advise me to lodge a claim but was advisable to be done by the sender (yourself) I asked you many times but i am pretty sure you havnt done anything about it. If I did receive the package then the tracking notice would have been updated - here is the current status and that is all there is..... its hasnt even progressed from the inital tracking entry.

You have spoken to my wife who runs our shipping department numerous times. She has tried to help you - but to no avail - GO USPS, note sarcasm!
