Default Actual 1/4 strip in Maryland??

I used to test and tune at Capitol all the time back in my Honda/Acura drag racing days. But unless I'm finding the wrong information, it looks like they are only an 1/8th track now?

And is 75-80 closed?

Is the only true 1/4 strip at MIR now??

Cecil Dragway? Cecil and Atco (in NJ) are the two fastest tracks on the east coast and maybe the US so if you're trying to break a record or something go there.

I just wanted to get out and do some runs to see how the car is, but it seems like that is more and more challenging to do without driving a good distance. Since I'm not "racing" anymore, my thirst for traveling to a track has diminished.

75-80 actually re-opened in 09 but then closed again in 2013. It was a small drag facility but it was cool having a 1/4 track that was easily accessible. Even though it's closed, I'm pretty sure Motorweek still uses it as their test track.

Yeah, I recently noticed that with the RA test.

Cecil County Dragway or Maryland International Raceway are probably your best bets
