Dylan, the owner of DS1 seems to have gone missing... with peoples stuff.

Some of the old employees are banding together and started a new company (as posted above).

If you ordered something in the past few weeks and didn't receive it, you might want to contact them and find out whats going on. Hopefully the new owners will be honoring your purchase or you might have to go ahead and reverse the charges on your CC transaction.

DoctorNick,
Fortunately, I don't have any exposure in the situation. I was just surprised to read they had closed. Sorry situation. I hope all the customers with orders or other interests with DS1 gets it all resolved.

DS1 is no longer in business.

Six Star Motorsports is a new company that hired myself, Sammy, Alex, and most recently Ted. You can still expect great prices, great labor rates, and quality work but now with less BS and a new level of transparency.

Vendor account should go live tomorrow hopefully so stay tuned! If you need any work done you know where to find us!!!

Shut up, Neal. You could bother to check a few facts before you start spouting BS.

I haven't seen facts one way or another yet, all I know is that something happened and there are some customers who have nothing to show for money they spent. Supposedly there's a signed agreement, which for some reason can't be shown to people. . . Why, I'm not sure, but it would eliminate a lot of frustration at this point for just about everyone.

Edit:

Also, this simple document could clear the air and eliminate just about all finger pointing and provide a cold hard facts truth versus a lot of talk where you don't know who to believe.

Kinda sucks. I was supposed to bring my wrx in for a timing belt and a few other things last weekend. Got tied up and was going to call today about dropping the car off. If everything gets sorted by this weekend I may still give them a call at the new company.

Any small minute amount of respect i ever had for you is completely gone. You're going to miss him?

He was the sack of **** to lie to your face and tell you he's there for you and you're the best customer ever, only to cuss you out behind your back as you walked out the door.

You should be more confident and happy now that it's Six Star and not DS1.

Less chance of being robbed.

I told all of you a year ago that Dylan is a lying scumbag;I could never understand why people stood up for someone so dishonest.Out of the $5600 he stole from me I got back $3500 and consider myself lucky.
