I can see i am little late to vote, but i can still state my oppinion.

Kartboy rule i ordered a shifter and a set of brushings, i got the shifter within a week, but brushings were on back order, then when they got sent out, they got lost in the mail and came back. I was not worried one bit, cause through out the entire transaction I kept getting updates from them.

Also, i noticed that some one stated that they were only out for your money, i belive it was Tom who wrote a 2 page letter trying to talk me out of buying their end links

Thanx

Keep making good parts, and we'll keep buying them.

I had bought a set of the rear endlinks a while back off ebay. They were clunking pretty bad so they took them back and modified them to stop the clunking for free.
They also accidently sent me the shifter bushing along with the front endlinks inserts i ordered. Never told them about that though

I placed my order on a weekend and got a response very promptly from him within 12 hours I think. I am VERY impressed with his service and the quality of his products. I wish there would be something else that he could sell with the same quality that goes into his products.

Now I won't get into the packaging used for my shifter and bushings.. It was safe and secure but really ghetto. Are you running this shop out of your home? I think the paper towel/napkin that wrapped the shifter was the give away.

yes shipping is all done here at the house. both mark and i work full time days jobs. all my free time on the weekends are spent at the shop making parts or doing other custome work.
after i get home i do all the packaging at night. LATE at night.

we could use fancy packaging but that would probably raise prices. . hey at lease i didnt use some paper towels with fancy designs on them
tell me where all the packaging is now? LOL

thanks for all the good props

Default Received my Shortshift kit already *****

I have been buying parts over the internet and mail-order and have never had such a positive experience as i have already had with Tom @ Kartboy!

Tom emailed me and said it would sometime next week. I received the parts 3-4 earlier than I expected. He blew my expectations out of the water.

And the packaging well take a look at the photo below, he even took time to put smarties in the package!!

Keep up the great job!

I didn't get any smarties with my order.

Tom is great guy to deal with. You wont find an unhappy customer of his on the I-club. If you didn't get the shift knob already I can highly recomend it.

You got Smarties??!!???

I ordered my short shift kit and knob last Friday. I've been rushing home from work everyday. You'd have thought I was waiting for a decoder ring or something. Now I find out you get Smarties with the shifter.........I can't stand the wait.

Forget the shifter, I want the Smarties.

I don't recall getting candy.. I did get great service though. There was a Volkswagen vendor named Potterman who used to put candy in his orders. He was a nice guy to.

Angry Well...Here's a Rant about [email protected]

Everybody claims that he is 'cool', 'answers my questions', 'very honest', and so on....

So then explain this....

How come he hasn't replied to my emails or PM's??? I was very interested in purchasing the SS but if this is the service I'm going to get, well then, I don't do business that way!!!

I've been waiting for 2 weeks...you'd figure that's more than enough time!!!

\Rant off\
