Keep the Paramedic stuff up. You always have a background to fall back on should you begin to not enjoy the sound stuff.

Mini-meet can be arranged and as been discussed between a few of us. 28th-30th works for me.

i have a garage.. lol its not the biggest, but its out of the weather. as soon as i source either a jdm longblock thats obd2 or a wrx longblock for cheap, im gonna pick it up and pick up a spare 98 harness and have ECS merge them for me before hand so i don't go insane trying it. for now im gonna just keep the trans in my L.. seems to be fine, besides, longer gears are better for boost.. anyways, thats my plans.

btw.

my name is billy.
i drive a arcadia green 98 impreza L, and i time attack exit and on-ramps daily.

Excellent work Dave! Glad to have a new thread!!

I'll chime in with my details:

My name is Jason Porter. I've been involved in this crazy online Subaru thing since the beginning (~1998) and I call Roanoke, VA home.

Grew up in Salem, VA, went to college in Greenville, SC, got heavily involved in the Subaru thing during its infancy and growth in '99-'02, lived in Atlanta for a while where I worked in the automotive performance industry (focusing on Subarus of course), and am currently very happy to be back in the mountains where the people are nice and the roads are nicer. I live in Old Southwest near downtown Roanoke and am very involved in all manner of things going on in town. I'm always down for a beer or food if anybody wants to check out downtown, it's really turned a fun place in the last few years.

Current car: 2004 Forester XT, ever-so-slightly-modified.

Previous cars owned or part-owned: 1994 Subaru SVX LSi (Still miss it!), 1991 Subaru XT6, 1992 Subaru SVX L, 1991 Subaru Legacy LSi, 1988 VW Jetta GL, 1987 Saab 900S 16v.

Vince and Linda. We were originally from Indy but both of us got sick of working in hospitals. Linda is a professor at Jefferson College of Health Sciences and I work in a division of a home care company repairing their equipment, Medical Services of America. We have 2 Scoobies. Started surfing ClubWRX and a forum from England for a few before moving to NASIOC.

03 WRX. My goal was to pep it up some but keeping near stock as possible. Non-stock: Accessport, DP with HFC & crossover pipe (but all with stock heatshields), IC hoses, plus brakes and lines. P&P-coated-OEM parts: Elbows, throttlebody, turbo, exhaust manifolds, STI up, IC sprayer (manual & vacuum activated), sedan rear swaybar, 17" WRX rims on Falkens ST-115s. Dent were I ran into it with the lawnmower.

05 Baja N/A. All stock except F&R swaybars & rims. Dent from limb in the road.

Wow, when did you get the WRX wheels Vince? Hadn't seen those on there before, you put the wheels from the wagon on the Baja? BTW, I work almost directly across Williamson form your street; have they finished the paving yet? Looks like they're close.

Curt we moved this spring to the lake. Our street is where you turn into to go to Sycamore Ridge Golf Club off Goodview road.

I sold Linda's Rotas to a kid that worked next door to me, uncpuck or something like that (Martin). I picked up the WRX rims off ebay last fall that were fairly curbed rashed at a great price then I cleaned them up and painted them. The Baja's summer rims are some cheapies that I also got off ebay too. I just put some Subaru labels on the center caps. Damn I'm an ebay junkie.

Yeah, I had completely forgotten that you moved, I now remember the deck and all that, be glad you got moved when you did... that street is now a mess. The lake is fun though, I grew up down in that area. Never knew the name of that golf course, I've driven by it a bunch of times.

My name is Steve and I am an autoxaholic. I have a car trading problem. They say the first step is admitting you have a problem, right?

I am off all week as well. Mini-meet or trip to Davids sounds good.

i made it into town, and I am down for whenever. I am using my parent's cars, so something not too far away is preferred. We can meet halfway or something if thats cool. Just let me know if we pick a time. I am free all day that day!

It may help, but it could be another issue.

I may have new parts on the way again next week. Stay tuned.
